Seriously stfu, I can see why you have so few bubbles because you are clearly a retard.
You have just restated what I have said and said that I am wrong even though you are saying the same thing as me.
Are you trying to say that CoD 2 was shit?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...
The best one in the series was multiplat.
It's easier because you can't turn as well with a controller.
Infact, even with maximum sensitivity there are things you cannot do on Portal one with a controller. (because you physically cannot turn fast enough)
Valve have sold their sole to consoles and that is why Portal 2 is aimed at consoles from a level design perspective.
Portal 1 was far too easy anyway, it was great looking for exploits and bugs to take advantage of to do the...
reynod you are an idiot, shut up.
EVERY CoD has been on consoles AND PC (except big red one which was for the original xbox because it couldn't handle 2 - which was fantastic on a PC).
3 was bad because it was the first treyarch game and it used their crappy engine.
5 had mod support. (just before Activision ruined the franchise, like I said)
how does the console version not having dedis harm PC at all? (until mw2 - when ...
what he said ^
"Recently I made the step up from my sturdy, reliable AMD Radeon HD 5850 to, what had been, just as capable an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570"
Pointless upgrade?
When you don't need glasses, maby. But I don't think it is scientifically possible to make a 3D technology that doesn't require glasses that can be viewed from more than 1 sitting location in relation to the screen (so family viewing etc is impossible).
3D could work nicely in a lot of games, but it really won't become the norm. Same goes for films to be honest.
The only reason Sony think it will become the norm is because some retards in a bo...
CoD was on consoles & PC since the start.
It was broken because Activison are retards, CoD is one of the few examples of a game that didn't get hurt by it's existance on consoles together with PC.
inb4 pc version = buggy console port :P
[X] game banned down under.
Isn't everything banned there?
So the better you are at Kinect games, the more you look like a retard?
I thought about that idea too, but it can't work in a game.
Also, Rocksmith is a crappy name.
Fail game won't sell or be any good anyway.
No, if this game is given positive reviews it's an "overreaction of personal preference"
Developers don't have to hire PC-specific programmers once the engine is already across the platforms (nothing else to be done with the windows api etc).
Looking for people with console experience is a general standard because PC is so easy to program for anyway.
But these job posts won't be for gta5 because it is so far through development already, if they are hiring programmers now (6-9 months from launch) we should be worried.
yeah :(
There are tricks they can do to make it bigger like having wider spaces carefully designed around the map to save space by having less unique environment detail - done properly it won't harm the game quality at all but will allow for a lot of additional awesomeness elsewhere.
But the best solution would be to restrict the game to Blu-ray devices only. And/or get some special agreement with the xbox to install a disk of content and play off the oth...
you are making sense.
but really, gameplay in unreal 3 games always has a strange feel to it. all the games you listed have "it". I can't describe what I mean but it may be something to do with the feel of the input or camera movement. There is always something heavy or delayed in there. Human revolution is using a less heard of engine which was probably chosen for gameplay reasons (otherwise, why would any developer use anything except unreal? unreal is excellent for ar...
dirthirts you are completely wrong
hardware tessellation is the single biggest advancement in computer game graphics since programmable shaders in 2000 or something
also the rest of the rendering pipeline improvements in DX11 outright increase performance even if the exact same thing from a dx9 or dx10 scene is being rendered.
dx11 vastly reduces cpu usage and ram access at the api level and rendering thread level (a possible bottleneck in SL...
yeah.
Until sandy bridge came out there was no point getting a quad core for gaming if you were on a budget.
Nowadays though:
4GB ddr3 (6 to be futureproof? upgrade later but keep it twin sticks)
A nice 6850 or better GPU
i5 sandy bridge and a titan fenrir to push it to 4.4GHz on any reliable mobo (like a gigabyte one :P)
A rig like that costs about £530 for the tower and will destroy any game on very close to max settings...
agree, infact neither of the screens are taken on max settings by any means.
Also the scenes chosen are horrible for proper comparison of graphics.
Crysis 2 in dx11 will hands down look vastly better than Crysis 1, but until then I am not so sure...
edit:
crysis 1 is badly optimised when on low graphics settings.
I was running warhead with 2 9800GT cards in SLI at about 20-25 fps maxed (no AA) or on total minimum settings at a...
The original does deserve a remake.
But, no don't use Epic's latest engine.
The best games always have their own proprietary engines, using a 3rd party engine to remake the original would destroy it due to loss of 'character' in terms of gameplay feel.
There isn't really anything special about the new Unreal engine, they just turned on tessellation...
Every new game will be able to look as good as that pretty soon;...
A new Timesplitters.
But it will be bad because most of the original development team left the studio as it became Crytek UK. So they just stole the intellectual property to release a bad game that they know people will buy because it carries a good name.
Expect no map editor, no bots, no customisation, bad humor, bad art style, loads of bugs, CoD ripoff gameplay, loads of bugs, no challenges, etc.
We saw this before with the same team; perfe...
