I probably won't be able to afford my PS3 until next May - but I want one badly. - That is my disclaimer.
Xbox and 360 owners have known the joys on CONSOLE online fragging for years...amid many a Sony fanboys' remarks of "Halo sucks" etc.
But don't worry, you'll see the same when the 360 gets some good Japanese style RPGs and the Xbox fanboys who attacked the PS2 lineup will be bragging about what they are getting!
I played the Eragon demo from the latest OXM. In short - it sucked - static camera, terrible control. It reminded me of the LOTR action games - but those had decent graphics and controlled well.
This title has been scratched off of my list of "potential must-play games"
It sucks for us as gamers, for sure, but imagine that you are a software company and had planned on certain profits from the holiday season based on the sales from your game.

I've played through X-Men Legends and have Legends 2 sitting on my shelf unplayed (got it cheap and have been playing other games).
I love these games - a must for my games library, but they don't warrant a full price investment for me.
I do own LOTR:BFME2 for the 360, and I am quite happy with it. Does it control as well as C&C, StarCraft or Warcraft on a PC? Of course not, but I guess I see the LOTR game as a great starting point for future console RTS games - my "diamond in the rough", and that is innovation in itself. Besides, my laptop cannot handle the newer games, so the 360 was my only chance to play this game. (I'll buy a PS3 before I get a new computer)

Assuming RPGs such as Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey and the others announced at the TGS come to the US, the 360 will have a diverse selection of genres. Also, there is Mass Effect and Bioshock (a shooter that seems to be more along the lines of a Deus Ex).

I wasn't really looking forward to this title - it looked kinda immature. However, I'm sold - so long as actual gameplay and production values live up to that trailer, but WOW, I guess I can get my Japan RPG fix on the 360 after all!
I play single player skirmishes so I don't have to deal with all the junk and baggage of playing online...besides, online games can take a long time - I usually only play for 2 hours tops.
...to no end. I am a therapist at an inner-city alternative school, and we have a kid from time to time who grows up to become a worthless piece of crap like this guy. Some people you just can't reach - I can see in his eyes that there is no soul.
The demo on the 360 had controls that had a huge dead spot in the middle and then were over sensitive once movement occured. It made precise aiming difficult. I'll wait to see if this was addressed before I buy it.

Heck, I wouldn't mind trading it in and getting the Wii version eventually...though the game is supposed to be exactly the same as far as content.
