I just want to play games. The PS3 has plenty of games coming out over the next year that I want to play. This Home thing is not a selling point for me. In fact, it seems like a tedious chore. This whole "hooking up with friends to play a match" is very simple on LIVE. I just send them an invite. We can chat no matter what we're doing on the system...why do I need to watch my avatar talking to my friend's avatar in my virtual house while I sit on the couch of my real house? ...

edit - just checked Gamestop - they have it NEW for the 360 for $19.99 and $17.99 used. What a bargain! That is a bargin for me! I think I will buy it!

What is a shame is that games do not hold their value - his investment will continue to lose its worth until each game is worth $1.99. I hope his hardware holds out many years so he can actually play most of those games.
I think this is what he wanted Fable to be. This is my most anticipated title as well.
I trust 10 reviews that all say essentially the same thing. I ignore the rogue reviewer who trashes a game just to get attention.

Apparantly you can change your view from an action game to a top-down action RPG style. Level grinding with tons of environments, monsters, and new weapons - I'm there!
This game is no longer on my radar - it has been delayed too many times, and there are so many other games I'm more excited about. I might rent it if it gets good reviews, but the hey-day of WWII games is long gone.
RTS games were the last genre to make the transition to consoles, and while I won't argue that the controls are equal to a PC for RTS games, you get used to it and can play quite well.
Sure I'm missing out on a few PC exclusives, but nothing has come out to justify the price of buying even a reasonably priced gaming PC.

I have not read one review that said GTA4 was perfect, and this article mentions nothing new that wasn't mentioned as minor irritants in other reviews - except for the Sean Connery thing - which is just a filler so he can say "10" rather than "9" things wrong with the game.
