The perfect "man-cave"!
There's been sessions where the gaming is good, but the people are annoying as can be - cussing, singing...whatever, and I've muted almost half of the room.
I also use the feedback feature - with the time in-between matches, I can "prefer" or "avoid" a few people.
One problem I find is that I find myself in games with a lot of "underground" people when I am "recreation". This is a problem for everyone - as the underground ...
I've been wanting to play through Gears again...and this should be a great shot in the arm for LIVE play.
COD4, Halo 3 and Vegas 2 are all very strong on LIVE - and will continue to be through the summer until Gears 2 and COD5 hit this fall.
I'm sure there will be a huge Battlefield following...I just fear that the online community for this game will be very small.
I'm with you. I was underwhelmed by Mass Effect. I've played through about 60% of it and it hasn't grabbed me in a way that made me want to continue.
It's certainly not a bad game - I like the dialogue trees, but the environments to the combat are...sterile - like something is missing.
Exploring planets got old really fast - different colored rocks and some small bunker to clear out...
I downloaded the additional content, but haven't had the urge to tr...
Overhearing an employee telling a mom to wait for a PS3 rather than getting a 360 because she will have to pay $5-$10 for EACH original XBox title her kid wants to play on a 360.
An employee tried to convince me that Halo was coming to the PSP - he was dead serious!
Listening to three employees including the manager(who I thought was cool up to this point) complain and bash previous customers. It was the most unprofessional display I have ever encountered.
It was inevitable with how successful Halo was on the original 'box.
You can only shoot so many Nazi's/zombies/aliens/demons.. .and adding cheesy gimmicks like bullet time don't cut it - that Rupture game looks lame. I want story and new and exciting worlds to explore. I would not mind having to shoot things or drive vehicles along the way, but "special effects" do not an engaging electronic media make! - I'm looking at you Star Wars Prequels!
That's ...
So I don't feel like I'm missing anything.
I actually like the zombie idea - this game is a playground and ripe for absurd ideas.
The story and progression may be rote, but the voice-acting and character animation keep me interested. I know a guy like Brucie - not the crime part, but the pumped-up hyper-roid-raged side of him.
I think many were excited about the prospect of what MP could be.
I don't own a PS3(yet), but I bought BioShock for my 360 day one. This is an IP that NEEDS to continue. Bringing the game to the PS3 allows more gamers to play it and vote with their purchases that we want BioShock 2(already confirmed) and 3 and 4...
As franchises die out completely or lose their luster, we need new ones like this - I'm stoked for you PS3 owners - just like I was when you guys got Oblivion.
It is also good because it gives these talented develo...
We WERE pretty brutal! - Rightfully so, I might add!
The new feature looks like a great idea. Madden has become more and more complex over the years - just like real football - but it might be intimidating for the casual fan who doesn't see value in all the nuances - they just want to run, throw and tackle.
To me this seems like the most worthwhile new feature added to a Madden game for the last few years.
I don't have the money for a "decent" 8 hour game. I won't even bother...if it gets good review scores, I will rent if it is short.
If it is "AMAZING" and "Classic" must-have-in-library title, I'll wait until it hits $29.99.
And won big. I do not own a Wii, and might get one in the next two years when my kids get a bit older.
But, the people I know who own a Wii are either 1)women 2) families with small kids.
Most of the people that I know who have a Wii are not interested in any other console because they are "Too complicated"
Yeah, there is a group that has all three or the Wii plus one other console, but Nintendo went after the people who usually don't ...
Real-time weapon swaps FTW!!! Let's hope the weapons do some MASSIVE DAMAGE!!!
Sorry - couldn't resist! ;)
But here's what I want:
- Cheaper hard drives so I have space to hold movies
- Faster movie downloads
- A monthly movie service like Netflix - one fee for a certain number of movies you can download per month.
I just want to kill me some Brumack!
I'm still working my way through FFXII. The slim PS2 is simply sexy. It is amazing to me that so much gaming goodness comes out of such a small package.
And you are right about Blu-Ray - that is why I'm saving for a 1080P TV first. I'm also waiting for the DualShock 3 to be included standard. When I do finally play some of the PS3 exclusives, they will be in all their graphical glory (even if the game is not necessarily in 1080P.
My goal is to get the new T...
My launch system still works perfectly. I'm lucky I guess.
To above - yeah with Fable 2 being open-world - it falls into my favorite type of game - thus my Oblivion love - a carryover from Morrowind which was only available on the original Xbox - not the PS2.
I've completely lost interest. It will take an amazing demo or some incredible gameplay videos - and steller review scores for me to care again.
Yes, I know the first two were great games - I played them - I guess I want more Bioshock/Deus Ex games - First Person Adventure with great story. I'm not sure the BIA story can avoid the WWII cliches that we've all seen before.
