This is what I was concerned about...RFOM had terrible aiming - enough so that I've never finished it and might not even rent RFOM2. Drakes Fortune was spot on and MGS4 was pretty good as well.
My standard is Halo 3 and COD4 for the 360 which both control like a dream. BF:BC on the 360 was awful with poor - and random - hit detection.
I'll download the demo when its available, but this can ruin a game for me.
That's what I was thinking - like at the IMAX theatre where you "feel" you are flying or going down a roller coaster.
And I'm glad they haven't given up on console RTS games - yes mouse and keyboard is better - but my computer wouldn't run the latest RTS games, so I depend on my 360 for my fix.

I am one of the lucky - owning both a PS3 and 360, and I'm no fanboy, but like many have said: Gears 2 multiplayer is disappointing - except for Hoarde - which rocks.

Using the D control setting was a perfect balance of RE4 and the newer contol styles of Gears/Drakes. I increased the sensitivity which sped up aiming perfectly.
It was suspenseful in that I had to run to a spot and turn and shoot - which is similar to Gears in a way - you must seek cover - you can't just run around and shoot everything Serious Sam style.
Anyway, between this and Killzone 2, this is going to be a great late winter/early spring
I have a Netflix account, a 360 and a PS3. I have Bluray sent to me for new releases/blockbuster titles, and stream other movies through the 360 - like Ground Hog Day - no waiting.
I think eventually movies will all be streamed in HD for a flat monthly rate - with a higher rate for access to new releases - but that's still a few years away at the very earliest until the technology catches up to the vision.

I jumped on the MGS4 bundle - B/C, DualShock and 80G memory and one of the best games I've ever played - pretty simple decision!
I recently renewed my subscription. They will probably substitute some mag we don't care about - that's what happened when they stopped publishing XBN - Xbox Nation.
And I'm a huge Halo, 360 and RTS fan. I just want to see how it actually turns out.
I want strategy in my strategy games, and with consoles, using complex tactics gets very difficult. I own BFME2 and C&C for the 360, but passed on Red Alert 3 for that reason.

Since I have a Ps3 and a 360, I'll wait and see if one has an advantage over the other. Blu-Ray is an obvious advantage, but you never know what might happen.
I can adapt to any button layout - that's not the issue. What I want is for the cursor to go where I expect it to go based on my input - intuitive aiming - that is what games like R6:Vegas, COD and Halo and Drakes Fortune all have.
But hey, if you are a pray and sprayer - I can see how you wouldn't know about precision aiming...
