Here's the answer - I will get both. When I feel like scratching my eyes out with frustration in Dark Souls, I'll put in Skyrim - having played Demon Souls and Oblivion, I know how different these games are - even with Dark Souls going open world.
I think all platforms will have a good community - I'm still deciding whether to get the 360 or PS3 version.
Like in Ninja Gaiden. The game looks amazing, but I'm afraid most people won't be able to see most of it because they will get frustrated and quit.

I'm guilty of the reloading - and of not using my grenades - and I do notice that when I'm doing well, my movement is more deliberate - and I get sloppy when I start to get tired - result in a lot of sense-less deaths.
I'm the "gamer" among my relatives; I own all 3 systems(just got a Wii for the kids this Christmas)- and am waiting until some games come down the pipe before investing in Kinect or Move.

Wow - I thought I was the only one with a large stack of unfinished/barely started games. - I've definitely slowed my acquisition of new games trying to catch up, but I'm so busy, a game like Fallout Vegas could literally last me an entire year!

for a 10 hour game that has no multiplayer. I will either rent or buy when its $29.99. I'm willing to wait 6 months or so to get the exact same experience for half the price.
I own both and like both. They are very different to me. Which one I play depends on my mood. Sometimes I want to strategize and focus on a goal, and sometimes I want to frag in a fast paced game.

I am a big fan of the series - bought all day 1. It seems its been dumbed down. The AI is less intense, and at the end of the demo, it took away my satisfaction of killing the bad guy because it went into a cut scene.
I'll wait for reviews, but it looks like I'll be waiting to pick it up cheap if at all.
Ubisoft has really been off their game lately - save AC. I'm kinda worried about the new Ghost Recon game this fall.
I managed to get used to the DS3 for shooters and the 360 controller for Ninja Gaiden - can't say I have a preference...
I'm gonna get this today. I was jealous of the PC gamers getting to play this - now I get my chance. Sure it won't have the same level of graphics, but I'm sure I'll enjoy it nonetheless - thank you Crytek!
