The online community with most games dies quickly and everyone goes back to the ol' stand-bys - Halo, COD, etc.
Some games develop a cult following - I think there's still a loyal core who still play GRAW and Perfect Dark Zero, but is anyone playing Turok multiplayer?
Lately I've been big on online co-op - Horde mode on Gears 2 for example.
The game itself is brilliant - and I am a big 360 FPS fan. They should have billed it as:
"The game that proves the PS3 can do a shooter as good(or better) than the 360."
In the end, it just did not get the exposure it needed. It deserves to be a system seller...
I own both systems - and want to get this game for the right system. I'm sure graphics will be close enough where that won't be an issue. I'm more concerned about DLC kind of stuff.
I had a launch 360 - I consider myself luck that I've only experienced one RROD - I bought a new one - traded the repaired one.
Anyway, I'll wait to see how the next xbox holds up for awhile before buying it.
knows a 7/10 is the right score...
They must mean Davey Boy Smith - thus the other half the British Bulldogs - Dynamite Kid is absent.
So much for recreating them taking the title from Beefcake and Valentine...
He first took the Intercontinental Championship from Tito Santana. That was back in the mid-late 80's.
Having Jimmy Snuka ALMOST makes up for no Macho Man...
Historically, that's how they role...
What are they going to sell - boxes of software? 360s and games that we can get anywhere? And these stores will probably be the last to see a price drop in games - you can go to Best buy and pay $39.99 for R6:Vegas 2 or go to the MS store and pay $59.99...
Are they going to partner with a computer company to make a special line of PCs and laptops - that will probably be overpriced?
I dunno - I buy MS products - I own a 360 and last year bought a Toshiba laptop ...
I like how Bethesda is making different environments for its DLC - new should be "new" and not "more of the same"
I'll be buying this DLC as well - already have Anchorage.
I'm waiting to work on the main quest until the third DLC so I can get to level 30 and play after the main quest is done. - So much other stuff to do in the meantime.
I can see where many would have preferred controls like Gears - or Drake's Fortune(which allowed slow movement while aiming and certainly allowed for suspensful play later in the game when "they" appear - making the game very RE-like.
Anyone who has any experience with RTS will feel right at home. The controls were easy to learn also.
Regarding it's complexity - decisions need to be made regarding what to build since each base has a limited number of places to build structures - you will likely need 2 bases to build the three power cores required for the third level of the tech tree - and to get access to air units.
I played a skimish match on Normal and dominated quite easily - far easier th...
Forgive my ignorance...
I actually traded in my PS2 towards the purchase - I don't want 5 consoles stacked under my TV - there's 3 there now - PS3, 360 and a GameCube.
B/C is big for me - the GoW games are ones I'll always want to replay as are the PS2 Metal Gear games, plus I still haven't finished FFX and XII. I also picked up the Devil May Cry trilogy as part of my collection after buying the PS3.
I think as consoles become more like PCs, B/C is going to be more and more important. ...
I just hope it doesn't disappoint.
I always read numerous reviews and look for trends. - That's how I avoid biased media.
Most of us have been around enough to know when to ignore the low review score that is given to simply draw controversy and bring attention to the article or the starving/aspiring game journalist(a term I use very loosely.
That said, Killzone 2 is a must-own for me because the body of reviews - taken as a whole - is stellar.
than to waste energy fighting about which console is better. Besides - I play games to have fun - and while I love a good discussion with informed people who can articulate a point, arguing with narrow-minded fools who are blinded by some weird loyalty to a piece of electronics that they have allowed to define their existence just isn't fun.
Any true gamer will recognize that there are great games and experiences to be had on all the systems - even if you choose to only own an...
However can I come up with the money equivalent to ONE breakfast value meal at McD's EVERY SINGLE month!!!
Its 4 bucks and change per month, folks, that's it! There's this concept called "budgeting" - look into it!
And, I'm sorry - I own and love my PS3, but LIVE is a far superior service to PSN.
you will see that while his input is consistent, the result on the screen is not - sometimes the view moves a tiny bit - others more. Therefore it is not possible to become accustomed to the sensitivity since similar input can have various results.
Its about muscle memory - after playing awhile, we "know" how much pressure to move the cursor from point A to point B - this video shows that the response is random, and will make the game more difficult to play.

You should buy them! - Especially if you are a FPS fan - I couldn't imagine KZ2 w/o them.
