I stood outside for 6 hours Thanksgiving night. When I got in my car with my PS4, the temp said 26 degrees F.
Interesting about the sound - I was playing through some Bose headphones plugged into the controller; I thought that was the reason sound was cutting out.
I was second in line at a local GameStop - they had 10, and I was in line about 6:15p for a midnight opening. It was cold, and soooooo worth it!
Make sure you go to redeem code through "account management" - not through the ps store. This is how I did it. And then I downloaded Dragon's Dogma on the PS3 and then Resogun on the PS4.
It worked - thanks!! I had to go though the account management - not the store.
Same thing with me - it just goes back to the home screen, and I never see the conformation screen. I tried a 12 month card and a 7 day trial that came with BF4. - same thing with both.
My father is a manager at a Wal Mart distribution center; he's seen the ps4s for Black Friday. Also, I was at a GameStop yesterday, and they said they will have a very limited supply Friday. What is crazy is that the store is inside a mall - I imagine a mad dash through the mall to the store when the mall doors open at 6A. I'm getting too old for that!
Very sleek and classy - I want one!
I'm a "own all consoles" kinda guy, but this gen, I may be getting Sony's console first. At any rate, I'm stoked about E3 and watching the big boys fight it out!
Just bought it. I was waiting for this price point.
My faith does not impact the games I choose to play. I'm probably more of the nice guy in games that offer moral choices, but where my faith has the greatest impact is not being a jerk online and making sure my wife and kids come first - so time with them takes priority - and all my M games are locked up away from the kids.
I was going to wait to get a next gen system; Sony has me wanting a PS4 day one.
This is why I will probably wait a bit to get the next gen systems - my library is already backed up!
We need another one of those floods!
I skipped MW3. B Ops 2 reminds me of the magic of the first MW. I took a gamble in coming back to the franchise- glad I did!
Good point!
The answer is simple - a significant number of people purchased the PS3 as a Blu-Ray player first and a gaming console second. These people simply do not buy as many games - see any study of the attach rate per console.
I love the PS3, but this is my opinion why the exclusives do not do as well when the installed base is taken into account.
Nice cut and paste of the comment left on the bottom of the linked page.
What? You didn't think anyone would notice that?
I am 39 years old. I am married; my wife and I have 3 kids. I have a Masters Degree, and I make enough so my wife only works 2 days a week - because she enjoys it.
My main hobby is gaming - which I do after the kids are in bed and I've spent time with my wife. My mature games are locked up, and I wear a headset so no one hears things they shouldn't hear.
I also limit my kids gaming - and make them play outside or with their other toys. And whe...
Sounds like a win for everyone!
