And there was a reason they took it away. You would think Microsoft would have been paying attention.
I'm banking on the first or second week of November since Call Of Duty: Ghost comes out November 5 and it's suppose to be available "Day 1" on the PS4.
They announced at E3 that a "free" PS4 game would be added to the Instant Game Collection every month. I dunno if it'll be a stripped down version, like DriveClub, but that's still pretty awesome.
I'm not really into racing games, so I would have passed on DriveClub otherwise, but since it's "free" for Plus subscribers and I'll be wanting to experience the PS4 experience as much as possible, I'll definitely be downloading it.
As much hate as there is for GameStop, that's what I love about them most. I'm lousy at saving money - every time I do, it seems like "life happens" and I end up having to spend it on something other than what I want. So, an Amazon preorder would likely not work out too well for me. But at GameStop, I can make payments and not have to worry about it. That's helped in getting me a lot of games and that's helping me get a PS4 at launch.
I switched my Call Of Duty: Ghosts PS3 preorder to the PS4 version and also preordered Watch Dogs.
My GameStop originally told me they were allowed to preorder out 20 PS4. When I went there yesterday to pick up The Last Of Us, I asked how the preorders were going and they said due to demand they were given 16 more.
Imagine this. Christmas morning. Junior opens his brand new Xbox One, takes it to his bedroom to hook it up.. uh oh! Junior has a small bedroom, no room for Kinect! Uh oh! No wi-fi in Junior's bedroom! BRICK.
orrrr..
A month after Christmas, Junior wants to swap games with his buddy next door. Uh oh!!!! Junior wants to trade his game in for that new game coming out, because he doesn't have enough money for it otherwise. Uh oh!

@JokesOnYou
I was under the impression that the "up to 10 family members" sharing was restricted to a single console.
I like the front slant. Not sure about the back slant, but that's the part I won't be looking at, so it doesn't really matter.
I'm starting to think Microsoft is trying pull a "rope a dope" on us with the whole DRM controversy. There is just no way this is going to end well in their favor without Sony on board backing them up. NO WAY! This controversy is going to keep the Xbox One hot on our minds now till launch. We are going to hate Microsoft with a passion. Then, a few days, maybe weeks before launch, Microsoft will announce they are going to change their policies and allow used games; leaving i...
I question the actual rewards part.
Obviously, to unlock an achievement, you have to accomplish a certain task in the game.. accomplishing that task is what unlocks the award; you just happen to get an achievement, as well. So, on multi-platform games, what's to say that whatever in-game award you get won't unlock on PS4, too, when you complete the same task and get a trophy, as well?
I can't see this being console exclusive with 3rd party deve...
Too early to say really. I'll admit, achievements were great on Xbox, but Microsoft was smart to implement them into the system before launch. PS3's trophies came later with a patch update after they saw how much people enjoyed them.
PS4 will implement them from the start just as the Xbox 360/Xbox One will. So, it remains to be seen what trophies will be like on the PS4.
I'll just play it on my Xbox 360.
You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
I'm willing to bet this Yusuf Mehdi person has never played a video game in his life.
Microsoft seems to think it's consumers don't understand the value of the all mighty dollar and wants us to trust Microsoft in handling the digital distribution of our games? Yea, okay..
Microsoft wants to eliminate retail and control what we pay for games. I don't have my Xbox turned on right now, but I dare anyone to go on Xbox Live and check out the prices on some of the on-demand games. Do we really want to pay $40 to $60 for games sometimes 2 and 3 years ...
Don't be fooled by Sony's generosity. They are just as much a greedy beast as Microsoft.
Microsoft was a fan favorite hit with the Xbox 360 when it first came out, too. They were generous and gave gamers what they wanted with a great console with great features and a great online service. Over time, as the Xbox 360 became more and more successful and it's competition (Sony/PS3) looked to be on the fast track to bankruptcy, Microsoft grew a big head that got big...
Drive Club "PS+ Edition" is only the beginning. Sony said they would add a PS4 game EVERY month to the Instant Game Collection. So, you could buy a PS4 and a $50 "+" subscription and never actually have to buy an actual game again, but still have a new PS4 game to play every month. That's 12 PS4 games a year for $50. That sounds pretty special to me.
More bad news for Xbox One.
