I didn't think it look bad.
Keep in mind, we're in a transitional period right now. PS3 and Xbox 360 are still strongly supported and will be for who knows how long, so third party developers are not going to stray too much, because they want PS3/X360 owners to get as much out of their games as those playing on PS4/X1. "Launch titles" are going to look seriously weak compared to what the future will bring.
That's a pretty big price-cut on Defiance. I'm guessing it's not, but is it any good?
I have Call Of Duty: Ghost pre-ordered for PS4, but I might switch to Killzone. Ghost will be available on current gen, so it would be nice to get a TRUE next gen exclusive for my PS4, like Killzone, instead of something where the developers couldn't stray too far from current gen capabilities.
If you have 2000 friends on PSN, have yourself a cookie.
I'm pro-PS4, but other than seeing the trailer at E3, I don't know a thing about The Order 1886. I hope it's an amazing game that absolutely blows my mind, but until I see some gameplay footage, I'm not interested.
But give me Watch_Dogs!
Yea, and you have to consider that those launch titles are just that.. launch titles. What kind of games will the available on PS4 and Xbox One a year from now? 2 years from now? 4 years from now? Sony has a good track record on having some of the biggest exclusives around, so I feel good about investing in the PS4 based on that trend continuing. Microsoft dropped the ball on exclusives in the 360's later years.
Maybe in the long run, but companies put a lot of stock in Holiday sales numbers and Microsoft and Sony both want to go back to their investors praising their numbers and their "win" over their competition.
Whoever launches first could be crucial in launch sales. A lot of eager gamers will go after whichever launches first.. by the time the other comes out, those same gamers will have already spent their money and won't be able to afford both.
Given all the bad PR it's gotten, it would be a smart move by Microsoft to launch first. But Sony has been smart this time around and I can't see them dropping the ball by launching second.
Same here @ GameStop, back in June.
Games would already be in the "cloud" anyway. If you own the license, all you would have to do is re-download it from the store.
I wish the Xbox One and PS4 would just release already so we can see for ourselves what they, Xbox Live and the PSN are all ACTUALLY capable of. It's going to be a LONG 4 months!
I hope they've been listening to the real fans of the series and not these expecting it to be Shakespeare.
Enough with the microtransaction abuse!!!
Maybe she's a midget?
Assassin's Creed II is a great game. So, it isn't brand new. Big deal. A game's goodness doesn't have an expiration date.
With Saints Row IV, GTAV, PS4 and Watch_Dogs all coming out soon, I REALLY don't need more temptation to spend more money on games right now, Sony. Why you got to be mean like that?
Eliminate the syncing process and it's all good, but considering the Vita still syncs.. I doubt they will.
I'm actually looking forward to Saints Row IV. I've been glued to Saints Row: The Third lately and I just need that silly, mindless escape from reality that you can only get with the mass destruction of an open world environment. It's great therapy and I would like to kill that cat.
Sony announced at E3 that a PS4 game will be added to the PS+ Instant Game Collection every month; starting with Drive Club "PS+ Edition".
PS4 games.. Outlast, Secret Ponchos and Don't Starve have also been announced to be part of the Instant Game Collection.
Give Microsoft time. This "generosity" thing takes some getting use to.
Man, I use to LOVE Crackdown. GREAT GAME! I drove the wife nuts looking for orbs; I never did find the last 3. If you've only ever played Crackdown 2, don't let that turn you off, because CD2 sucked, but this one - the original, was freaking GREAT!
