If only we would have consulted Batman. He would have figured out that riddle in no time!
I wouldn't put much stock in where it stands on the pre-order charts just yet. Titan Fall isn't exactly a launch title.. and most people are pre-ordering the stuff they can pick up with their next-gen console of choice.
Come the 1st of the year, though.. pre-orders will skyrocket.
Nothing is just going to show up and dethrone Call Of Duty. That's going to take time and it's something that Battlefield has slowly been doing for the last few years now, inching closer and closer. Being a new IP, it's hard to say what kind of impact Titan Fall is going to have, especially being exclusive to only one console (so far), but if it's as good as they say, you never know.. it may be the franchise that does what Battlefield hasn't been able to do just yet.
That is one thing I have definitely become more aware of about Microsoft in the past few months.
You would think more people would catch on to them wording things in a way that makes something out to be so amazing and must-have, only for it to turn out to be something not so amazing and must-have.
Just another way I've lost faith and trust in Microsoft.
I'll wait for Killzone to be a Playstation Plus freebie. I love my Vita, but I don't play it enough to justify buying any games for it, especially when I'm getting free games every month through Plus.
And I still can't believe they are not releasing GTA V on next-gen so close to the launch of next-gen.
What strange times we live in.
On the flip side, Japan is Sony's primary audience and look up the ridiculous number of free games Sony has given Japan through Playstation Plus. Sony takes care of it's own.
I don't get the American mentality of letting it's people suffer, while putting tons of money into other countries. And this goes beyond gaming, but in American politics. I guess Microsoft and the US government have the same expert that thinks this is a good idea. IDK.
I doubt my GameStop will be too bad. You can easily ask the guys working there how many pre-orders they got beforehand and the kind of crowd they are expecting. In my area, I'd expect a 100, tops! to show up.
If the Playstation Plus Instant Game Collection existed back in 2008, Rainbow Six Vegas would have been part of it.
@mega31
And when you don't pay your electric bill, you can't play your Xbox anymore. You are right.. Playstation Plus is a service. It's not required. You don't need it. But it's a GREAT VALUE. A value you WANT to have. A value you WILL pay to have, because it's just that dayam GOOD.
So, you want to call the free games a "rental". Whatever. My take on that is either you are trying to devalue the service for others in ...
I vaguely remember playing Rainbow Six Vegas in my youth.
I pre-ordered GTA V from the Playstation Store with the idea that I'll be able to stream it to the PS4 sometime next year with Gaikai.. as long as that happens, I'll be a happy man.
Just don't buy it then. Nobody is making you.
As for SR4 being a DLC game, in the past, DLC might have run you $10 for an additional 30 minutes of gaming. Do the math and you will see that $60 pays for about 3 hours of gaming. So far, I've put almost 20 hours into Saints Row IV.. and I still have a TON left to do.
So, DLC or not.. it's worth it's price tag.
Just makes it that much better the day it finally comes home and I fire it up for the first time.
Sometimes you can get the pre-order bonuses with digital. If you pre-order GTA V on the Playstation Store, you get the same pre-order bonus GameStop and Amazon is offering.. a blimp you can fly around in.
You actually get more pre-ordering GTA V digitally on the Playstation Store. You get 75% another R* game and you get a theme.
On the Xbox 360, I always installed the games I was currently playing, but after awhile, if I'm no longer playing that game.. I delete the install.
So, my question is: Will I be able to delete the install when I'm done with it?
Please stop comparing this game to GTA. It's nothing like it!!!
Those poor people. They might have to go outside and kick a ball around or something. Whatever it is people use to do back in ancient times.
This game was never even on my radar and I loved the first one.
But 1 + 1 = 2..
and 1 and 1 together is.. 11!
Your mind.. blown! ;)
