After Sony botched the PS3's launch, it took me about 3 years before I finally got a PS3 and then had to play catch-up on all the exclusives I missed out on. Unlike then, I'm now in a position where I can afford to buy a PS4 and a Xbox One, so I'm getting both.
Microsoft might be botching the launch of the Xbox One, but don't count them out. As before, things change and nobody has any idea where things will be a year or 2 from now.
Besides that...
I'm not really interested in this game.. just not my style, but Sony seems to really be pushing how next-gen it is. And maybe it will be at showing off what next-gen is all about, but the game itself just doesn't appeal to me.
Having been one of those people that showed up day one to buy something, only to discover it was already sold out... I respect Microsoft's approach in wanting the X1 on store shelves. It's good business and, for once, it seems like they are getting something right.
Not exactly true... Uncharted, God Of War and The Last Of Us looked way better than anything on Xbox, but that's because they are all exclusive to Sony. Everything else, I felt looked about the same, rather on Playstation or Xbox, but that's because Microsoft restricts third party multi-platform games from looking better on it's competitor's consoles. If you compare exclusives... Sony easily wins.
Then release it on next-gen, R*.
IDK about that, Microsoft.. $399 looks a heckuva lot better than $499 to me.
I'm actually enjoying this one more than DuckTales. The 3D sequences kinda confused me at first, because I didn't remember them in the original, but they are a great addition. The game looks great in HD.
IDK about that. At least 80 of those 100 are generic Kinect games.
Demos take time and cost money to develop and if done wrong could kill a game's sales. They are a risky investment and I really don't blame developers for wanting to stay away from them, especially with so many studios getting closed down. It has nothing to do with being lazy.
Finally! Maybe then we'll get some anatomically correct BARBIE games to play!

I always thought the name "Xbox One" was a cheap shot at Sony, because it also sounds like Xbox "Won" with the success of the Xbox 360.

It's fans like you that allow Microsoft to get away with all of it's inconsistencies. If a company says it's going to do something, makes a promise or whatever the case.. it needs to DO THAT. NOT the opposite. But when you and others defend it, regardless, you are saying LIE TO US AND SCREW US SOME MORE.. WE STILL LOVE YOU. And Microsoft will.. again.. and again.

So true! Sony is amazing when it comes to exclusives. There is no arguing that.
As for the PS4 launch titles, Watch Dogs, Battlefield 4 and Killzone: Shadow Fall will keep me busy well into 2014, along with ResiGun and DriveClub through Playstation Plus.
Which is now on Netflix for those of you wondering what the hell he's talking about.

I've already pre-paid my PS4, 3 games, and an extra controller. Now I'm making payments on my Xbox One pre-order. If I had to save and drop $1000+ on all this stuff at once, it would never happen, but having made payments since June has made it easy and affordable.
