The only thing I'm confused about is how big is the actual game? I've been hearing 18 GB, but the Playstation Store says I need to have at least 36 GB free to install. 18 GB is no big deal to me and Monday would be fine handling that, but if I have to download twice that, I'm going to be disappointed.
I'm dumb to this stuff.. anybody care to explain why I need 36 GB to install an 18 GB game?

I'm ticked about this myself. First thing this morning I checked to see if it was available so I could begin the download process.. NOPE! But what really freaked me out is I read the description for buying GTA V and it now says the game requires 36 GB to be free on my HDD in-order to download the game. It didn't say that previously.
The description also says the download won't be available until the 17th at 12:01AM PST.. that's 3AM for me. So, if they hold...
I guess the media will start blaming GTA on teenage pregnancies next.
The "day one editions" are limited to select stores. All others are just getting the standard edition. But yea, they are still taking pre-orders at Walmart.
The generation hasn't even begun yet and they are already pushing the PS4 "hard"? So, what are they saying, that what we're getting at launch is as good as it'll ever get next-gen?

It'll score all 10s, except from a few rogue sites that "want to be different" and catch heat (and hits) by giving it a low 7.
I'm getting both, the PS4 and Xbox One. First thing I'm gonna do is make them hug and play nice together.
You know what I think would have been AWESOME..
If a small portion of the GTA V map was based on the Red Dead Redemption map, except it would be modern day and look completely different with homes, businesses, etc., but there would still be common Red Dead Redemption landscapes, rock formations, etc. that would still be recognizable.
I'll tell you what you will do. You will SUFFER being stuck playing that lame GTAV game. Sucks to be you.
I can't see anybody being THAT desperate for next gen that they couldn't wait another week to get an Xbox One if that's the console they want most. Besides that, considering the pre-order sell-outs, I doubt they'll be able to find a PS4 anywhere in stores the week of release.
I love that he included a picture from Ryse in the "Research the Launch Titles" section. I saw some gameplay of that game recently in my "research" and I hated the way the characters moved around in combat. It just looked cheap and poorly done for a game that's releasing on such a powerful new console. If I ever get to try the game for myself, I might reconsider, but I'm not buying it at launch.
A lot of stores offer warranties. I plan on getting one on the Xbox One I have pre-ordered at Walmart. I've never had any problems out of any of my Playstations, so I'm taking a chance on it and not getting one.
Works the same way with mail-order brides.
I haven't really got into Sleeping Dogs, but I loved Hitman: Absolution and Tomb Raider.
My ONE complaint about Tomb Raider is that I think the game's story was stretched out a bit more than necessary. Had they cut a portion of the story out, that might have saved Square Enix a lot of money w/o sacrificing how good the game was. In fact, it might have made the game better and gave them something to sell as DLC.
I tried playing Dead Pool on hard and had to drop it down to normal after so many cheap deaths. WAY frustrating!
I usually only play rentals on Easy, because I'm limited on time playing them and want to get as far through them as I can before I have to return the game. It's not that big a deal to me, because me renting a game means it interested me enough to want to try it, but not enough to buy it.
That's actually the reason I bought digital. I'm hoping Sony will let me play it on PS4 with Gaikai OR if a PS4 version is released, they'll let me upgrade for cheap.
