@abzdine
I agree with you in regards to Killzone: Shadow Fall. I've always liked the Killzone series - about as much as I liked the Call Of Duty and Battlefield series, but Shadow Fall looks especially special to me.
Killzone: Shadow Fall is doing great in pre-orders, but I think it's still going to be the game that really surprises the most people.
I don't remember where I saw it, but they said trophies/achievements on next-gen versions of games could be different than they are on current-gen.
I'm SOOOO ready for Battlefield: Bad Company 3! BC2's multiplayer was my absolute favorite.. Every other multiplayer game out there, I sucked in, but I dominated BC2's multiplayer. Make it happen!!!
My internet isn't the greatest, but I downloaded GTA V, which is nearly 18 GB in 6 hours.. so, it would take most of a day, but no 50 hours to download a 50 GB game.
If that were the case, I would just buy the physical copy anyway.
"Spring 2014" spans a few months, so it's doubtful to have much of an impact unless they release on the same date or within a week of one another. Even then, most people that will buy them will have been planning to for months.. many will have pre-ordered them. They will both be successful still, regardless.
I like this feature. I've played a TON of games over the years and every time I sync my trophies, it takes FOREVER trying to detect every game I've played. If I can eliminate a bunch from the list, this might speed the process up TONS.
They said between 15 and 20 minutes for MOST USERS.
A 15 to 20 minute update is no big deal. I'm sure PS4 will have an update, too.. and considering all the times I've had to update my PS3 and Vita over the years, it's really not fair to get upset with Microsoft about it.
We've waited MONTHS already and we still have another 52 days to wait. What's another 15 to 20 minutes?
I can understand advertisements on Xbox Live Free, but they shouldn't be on a premium service like Xbox Live Gold.
As for commending Microsoft for updating the dashboard.. all I've got to say is, if it's not broke, don't fix it. I love the old blade style dashboard. The current Metro look sucks!
Was Jesus already taken?
Much like the original Dead Rising was the first Xbox 360 game I bought, Dead Rising 3 will be the first Xbox One game I buy. Can't wait!
And to think this is just a launch title. Imagine what's to come a few years from now.
@gpturbo81
Why? Because I'm getting an Xbox One? There is actually a lot of exclusive games coming out for X1 I want to play.. besides Dead Rising 3, maybe Ryse (depends on reviews), there is Quantum Break, Titan Fall and Kinect Sports Rivals. It's getting a lot negative publicity, but as a GAMER, it still has games I want to play. Plus, my 6 year old LOVES Kinect.
So, no. I am not getting ripped.. breh.
Core gamers don't like anything Microsoft does right now.
Because launch titles are awesome and are a strong indication of what a console's future is.

Okay, I'm not tech savvy, but couldn't this be fixed with a simple driver update?
Let's see. So far I've spent $400 on a PS4, $500 on an Xbox One, $60 on a PS4 controller, $60 each on Watch_Dogs, Battlefield 4 and Killzone: Shadow Fall. That's $1140 + tax. And I still need to get another Xbox One controller, Dead Rising 3 and renew my XBL Gold.
5 minutes is fine. If you do something cool in a game, unless you got a seriously badass kill streak going on, a few minutes is plenty of time to show off what you did. Who wants to sit through 15 minutes of watching somebody else play a game to get to the point?
The author of this guide has way too much time on his hands.
I'm glad mine is already pre-ordered, paid for and just waiting to meet me in 6 weeks when I pick it up.
