I'll be at GameStop at midnight, so I'll miss part of it, but I'll have it on DVR for whenever I come out of my cave in the spring.
I will be knee deep in next-gen so much by then that current-gen will be a long, forgotten memory. Just go ahead and release it on next-gen if you're going to wait that long.
They shouldn't just ban them from BF4, but make it a 10 year ban on ALL future Battlefield games, as well. Swift and severe punishment is the way to go dealing with these a-holes.
What about Halo? Has it ran it's course?
I'm actually looking forward to quite a few Xbox exclusives - Dead Rising 3, Ryse, Quantum Break, Kinect Sports Rivals and Titan Fall, which is part of the reason I'm getting the Xbox One. But the PS4 will no doubt be my primary gaming console.
I'd wait on buying this. I know it's been done before, but 50% of the cost of the game just seems high for DLC. I'd wait till they have it on sale for $20 or less before buying. In the meantime, there are plenty of other games out there to play.
No. It's an Xbox One exclusive.
These images look like crap. Not exactly game sellers. I plan on getting the game anyway and I'm sure it'll look TONS better, but those images were a turn-off.
I'll get games that my 6 year old can play digitally, like Kinect Sports Rivals. I don't want her handling disc at that age, but I want the games she'll play to be easily accessible to her.
I noticed that on the Assassin's Creed IV comparison video, too. Water is going to be awesome in next-gen games! And I love water.
Just get a copy of the ad and take it to Walmart - they price match! So, if Target backs out, you should still be able to get the deal.
I love the size of the DualShock 4. But then, I have large hands. So, it feels better to me than the DS3.
All Stars was great and I've occassionally had the urge to play it again. I've been playing WWE 2K14 a few hours and, while I'm liking it, I think for a game at the end of current-gen consoles, it looks horrible graphically. I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt, because of the whole THQ bankruptcy deal, but 2K better step up their game for next year's next-gen release.
I got mine yesterday at GameStop. It's slick and I love the feel of it. I'm looking forward to actually getting to use it in less than 3 weeks.
Here Comes the Pain and No Mercy..
I'll admit those were 2 of the best wrestling games in their day, but I wonder how many people that CONSTANTLY bring those games up every single year a new WWE game comes out actually still play them. I use to LOVE No Mercy, but when I played it about a year or so ago, I discovered that my gaming taste had changed and the game wasn't as good as I remembered it being.
But the great thing is, if you love those games ...
Just got my DS4 today (GameStop has them in stock) and I'm absolutely in love with the feel of it. WAY better than the DS3! I tried to use it on Batman: Arkham Origins, but..uhh NO start button! Best I could do was navigate the PS3's dashboard. I can't wait to truly try it out in 3 weeks.
I think I'm going to go pre-order this game for next-gen. I've been kinda dismissing it since I haven't been able to get into an Assassin's Creed game since AC2, but I saw a commercial for it the other day and there is just something about the Caribbean setting that lures me in. So, I think I'm going to give this series one more chance to WOW me. I hope it doesn't disappoint this time.
Price. Marketing. Exclusives. Playstation Plus. Something different.
I also think it didn't help that Microsoft has taken a step back in being consumer friendly with all it's ads and restrictions. It's also may have alienated a lot of hardcore gamers with Kinect and focusing more on casual games with Kinect. There is a casual game market, but those people don't typically BUY games. They buy 1 or 2 a year, while hardcore gamers tend to buy 7 or 8. Sony ...
I dunno about this.. maybe next year.
I do think the hardcore gamers are the ones who are posting online and are the ones who pre-order, so their console of choice is going to dominate early on, BUT Nintendo has proven to us with the original Wii that there is a HUGE casual market and I think the Xbox One will be more appealing to that market in the long run. Kinect is already a hit with kids and parents and we laugh at the cable stuff on Xbox One, but there are non-gaming p...
Until you experience it firsthand, you just don't know.
