I really wish I hadn't jumped in so quickly preordering this mess on PSN, where they don't offer refunds. My biggest regret since buying Ghostbusters: Now Hiring. :(
So a just released game that normally goes for $60, like Assassin's Creed Origins for $30 is an illusion? That's the kinda abracadabra I like to be fooled seeing.
And yet my ISP still sticks me with a 500 GB bandwidth cap that I've gone over every single month.
The GOTY edition also includes the deluxe edition content.
Kinda disappointing this year. Good deal on Horizon, but I'm picking up the GOTY edition in December. Maybe I'll pick up a 2nd PS4.
The only people who wouldn't want it to advance either can't afford it or their preferred gaming platform doesn't support it.

I play the first demo disc quite a bit. It's great for showing off the PSVR to friends or just to get a short VR session in. So I see demo disc #2 as a PSVR must-have.
I've been extremely tempted to order the Scorpio Edition on Amazon. I even checked to see if it was still available before checking N4G. (It is.) So glad I didn't bite.
I never get these codes either and I am signed up to receive emails. I get them all the time; the latest pushing COD.
I don't mind microtransactions as long as they stay unnecessary for game completion. I've been console gaming since the Atari 2600 and for as long as I can remember, despite the games becoming way more advance, bigger in size, and the growing cost of making them, the average price of a console game has remained about $60 for decades. So, if not for MT and/or DLC off-setting the prices, I can see console games raising in price to $100+. At least the industry is giving us the option...

I've never been much of a MP gamer anyway, so it's difficult for me to get into these type of games. (I still try!) Still, it is a beta and even though the main game is still just over a month from release, this beta could've been finalized months ago, so we don't know what's changed since. So, positive vibes. Plus, I've already dropped $80 on the digital deluxe edition and there are no refunds.
I haven't really enjoyed an Assassin's Creed game since part 2. I took the plunge and went ahead and pre-ordered this one. Here's hoping it's something special.
I've been wanting HZD since day 1, but was broke when it came out. I was planning on picking it up Black Friday, because I figured it would be on sale for cheap. THIS is wayyy better!
Seems silly they didn't just take a few additions off of the main game's roster and use them to bulk up the DLC. And I'm happy w/ who is included in the DLC, but not happy we're getting less than half of last year's content for the same price as last year's. ($30)
I've been waiting for a big discount, too. I'm expecting it to get a lot of discounts on Black Friday.
Not sure if I agree. I mean, we all feel sadness from time to time and when it's just sadness video games are a nice distraction that I can get by on until i snap out of it. But I've suffered from depression most of my life and when it hits, I'm at my lowest and lose interest in everything, including video games. I'll still try playing occassionally, but I never get far before giving up on the game. I wish I could say 'try this instead', but I've yet to figure ...
Make GTA 5 in VR and I would happily pay full price a 3rd time.
