I've never played PUBG and had no interest in it until I played Fortnite. (I'm a PS4 gamer.) I'm loving Fortnite now, tho. Not sure if I'll ever make the jump to PUBG from Fortnite, but I look forward to trying it out.
The biggest difference I've noticed is that my platinum headset blocks are more outside noise. More snug fit, too, which traps the sound in better. I definitely prefer them over my gold headset.
I've already pre-ordered FC5 Gold Edition on PSN, so I guess I'm getting this, too. Great game, but doubt I'd bother playing thru it again when I'd be getting FC5 with it at the same time. If I could get it NOW.. different story.
I hope they fix the voice acting. HZD was great in every way, but the voices of side characters (Aloy's was fine) just didn't fit and took me out of it.
I was in a mental funk when I first played FC4 and have wanted to finish it since, but didn't want to buy it again. So, this is great news for me, especially since FC5 got pushed back a month.
I was actually a fan of Cliff, but then he blocked me on Twitter for no apparent reason, only to unblock me when Lawbreakers came out. So, I avoided this game for that reason. Glad I did.
Everytime I see that above pic for RDR2 I think it's Billy the Kid in the middle surrounded by the Regulators.
I got the ugly sweater theme, which lives up to it's name. I also got $10 to spend in the PS store. I already own Frozen Wilds.
Terrible review for a pretty good PSVR game. I think the reviewer missed the point and expected more; maybe because the game is linked to Until Dawn, which I admit might've been a mistake in developing this game. It's still a great, fast-paced shooter that's a lot of fun and might work your nerves a bit with it's scares.
"Experiences" like Justice League, Ghostbusters and Spider-Man: Homecoming are more like tech demos and advertisements for their brands. In those cases, they help sell their movies, just as Stranger Things helps sell it's show and Netflix subscriptions. So there is money being made without gamers having to spend a dime on any VR "experience". Plus, they give you something to show off your PSVR to friends that might go buy their own, which helps Sony make money.
It's not available in the U.S. yet - hopefully Tuesday. But at least this "experience" is free. I've paid for a few that should have been free, like Everest, Justice League. And if Stranger Things is like what you could already play using YouTube VR with PSVR, I'd be disappointed paying any money for it, too. Nice tech demo, though.
If it is, wait for the full release. I bought Hitman per episode and ended up paying way more for the full game.
PSVR is such a game-changer and something everyone NEEDS to experience first-hand. I paid full price for mine just weeks before it was discounted, but I have no regrets.
I got bored reading the article, but I already knew the one I currently own (PSVR) is #3 of the 3. And I've watched enough YouTube videos to know that the HTC Vive is usually the most preferred VR device.
I don't think you can compare VR to 3D. Even I could afford PSVR. I could never afford a 3D TV, so I never bought one. Affordability is key and right now, VR is affordable.
I love my PSVR. It's truly a game-changer and has opened my eyes more than ever to what the future of gaming could be like.
Cool freebie. I'm surprise they didn't giveaway Planet Earth 2 instead.
You're trollin', right?
Assuming you're not, there is no denying that violence, rather being a witness to it or being involved directly, can screw up one's mind. But trying to avoid it is practically impossible and therefore irresponsible. It's an unfortunate part of life that you're going to be exposed to violence.. just watch the news. ***The important thing to teach a child is how to differentiate real world violence and "make believe"...
You guys are incredible. Comparing PlayStation's sale to Xbox's sale, it's #1 competitor, makes absolute sense. Brand loyalty is fine, but you're suppose to be gamers first. And knowing what's out there and how it compares to others is not only important, but being responsible.
I love the building aspects of Fortnite. Wish I was as good at it as I've seen others, because it it's a game changer.
