I hardly ever play my Switch because better version of games are typically on PS or Xbox, so my money goes on those platforms. I've bought 2 games for the Switch - Mario Kart and Super Mario Odyssey. I played each for a couple of days. My Switch has collected dust sense. Sure, DKC might be a good reason to dust it off, but more as a rental than a full purchase. Other than that, there isn't any other game coming to Switch I'm interested in. And if I had to part with one of my...
Same. I love DKC back in the day, but I hardly ever play the Switch and I'm not sure I want to put anymore money into it.
Battle Royale has become too big for them not to try and adopt it in some way. The genre is here to stay.
He should want his game on as many platforms as possible. But specifically saying Xbox was a bad move as it'll upset PS4 gamers and might bring up memories of him passing over Xbox with Lawbreakers.
Next time, Cliffy, even if you're only focused on one, try saying you want to bring your game to "consoles" instead.
A 7 GB update to remove content?! You'd think this update would save you on HDD space. Not take more.
Actually, the nudity is suppose to be patched in on consoles when it officially releases next month.
Somebody wanna gift me about 50,000 v-bucks? I have a feeling I'm going to be playing a lot of Fortnite this summer.
This game gets more updates than Fortnite. The game runs smooth to me. I don't see why they can't just make updates a weekly thing, rather than nearly every day.
I'm going to be smart and wait for the Holiday sales this year for games like Tomb Raider.
With rumors Microsoft might release the next Xbox in 2020, side by side with the PS5, I could see Sony pushing production up to release in 2019.
I still don't think we'll see it until 2020, but maybe alittle earlier than Holiday 2020.
Great marketing doesn't necessarily mean a great game. They brought in Sean f'n Astin. Of course the game was going to sell!
John Wick is the new Black Knight in that everyone seems to be using him now.
As for that crossbow kill, play Duos or Squad matches. Knock an enemy down with whatever weapon then finish them off with the crossbow.
Maybe. But for those of us who has bought a "premium console" like the Pro and XOX, more enhanced games, not just past titles, but current ones is part of what we spent more money for. Right now, I feel like Xbox is delivering moreso than PlayStation in this area. Fortnite, for example, looks way better on XOX. PlayStation having great exclusives isn't a pass on being lazy enhancing games for a more premium experience with the Pro.
Xbox is hitting homeruns with these enhanced games. They're not enough reason to invest in an XOX, but it does make me wonder why PlayStation isn't doing the same with the Pro.
To each their own. Personally, I'm enjoying the game, the graphics are superb and some of the combat sequences are insane while others are rinse & repeat. It's telling a good story, too, but it also slows down to a crawl at times telling that story, which could turn a lot of players away, especially early on. So, is it a perfect 10? Hardly. But it does rank very high regardless.
By comparison, The Last Of Us was the same way.
Why wouldn't he play God Of War and test what kind of product the "competition" is creating? He might enjoy it as a gamer, but this is market research, as well.
@sizeofyou
If you don't see a huge difference in Red Dead Redemption you need your eyes checked. The enhancements to that game are astonishing.
Honestly looking forward to Crackdown 3 after revisiting the 1st one enhanced on Xbox One X. I mean, surely, it'll be better than the 2nd one. Right?
Crackdown 3 will be available day-1 thru GamePass, which is only $10/month. So I doubt there will be a demo.
If the OG enhanced games the way the X does, there would be no reason to pay twice as much for the X.
