Have you seen Verizon's "Can you hear me now" guy? He's now doing some great commercials for Sprint.
I use mine to watch Netflix, Amazon, etc., more than anything. But if I had a Xbox One, and it was my primary system, I would use it the same way.
Yea. Full refund and keep the game. What a dick.
I don't mind filling out the surveys for the reason I actually like the employees working at the GameStops near me. They're good people who have always been extremely helpful and kind and if it helps them maybe get a promotion or a raise, then I have no problem taking 5 minutes of my time filling it out for them. Plus, there is always a chance I might win their weekly drawing.
The GameStop employees I know always complain about corporate, but otherwise seem to enjoy most of the social aspects of their job. Seems to be a lot of perks for being a manager, too, w/ conventions 'n stuff. I'm not sure what it's like there as far as benefits and pay, but I can't imagine it being worst than the giant store next door to mine.. Walmart.
I'm actually surprised WWE hasn't done a Disney Infinity type deal with buying game pieces. I think this would work well for a WWE All-Stars reboot (a game I actually really loved last-gen) or even a console version of WWE Immortals. They could cross it over with their action figure sells - buy the toy action figure, play with the toy action figure as you would any other action figure, but also unlock the character in the game.
Comparing the amount of content you get for $60 to the DLC you get for $30. That's a big fat NO. If they're wanting $30, then the DLC should equal to, at minimum, 50% of the base game, which means the base game is only 2/3rds of the actual game. Whoever came up with these DLC prices are insane.. and to think it'll cost you even more if you buy the DLC seperately. Ridiculous!
I'm expecting the worst - for it to be something like a Naughty Bear rip-off, but I can't help to be excited for it, as well. Here's hoping it's the surprise hit of the season.
I only clicked on this because of the pic of The Division (which I just got a week or so ago for cheap).
I feel like I play it different than everybody else. Having watched WWE for over 30 years, I work out my own storylines in my head and then play them out in exhibition type matches, of which I can control the pacing of, so the matches themselves tell a story. It's kinda like booking WWE the way I want, rather than what WWE gives us week after week. Way more fun to me playing it this way.
Well, SOME - not all, but some - are arrogant and do act like twits at times, so, he's not too far off there, but console gamers are no better. It is what it's always been - personal preference and the ability to respect other's preference. Younger gamers have a harder time understanding that than older gamers. Personally, I prefer the ease and convenience of a console, knowing I can play the hottest, newest games on a system that I don't have to constantly worry about upgr...
It's said that if you want to predict the future, you learn the past. If we look at the past, we've already seen the PS4 Pro vs Scorpio battle when the Xbox 360 went up against the PS3. The Xbox 360, despite being the weaker console, dominated. WHY? A few reasons, but I think the reason most often overlooked is the LIMITATIONS put on third party developers. 3rdPD weren't going to make a game for the more powerful PS3 and then downgrade it to play on the Xbox 360, which is why...
I've had my Golds for almost 3 years now, use them regularly and they are in just as good of shape today as they were when I bought them.
Not knocking the Gold, but I use those things a lot. I had a pair of Beats (by Dre), which were good and cost 4X's more, but they had an accident. My Gold, tho, still intact. Great sound playing games, esp. if you use the Headset Companion app on PS4, and I can wear them late at night while everyone is sleeping and watch Netflix 'n stuff. For the $100 I spent on them, I've got more than my money's worth out of them and still am.
EDIT: I forgot to add t...
Having owned an Xbox One and PS4; both at launch, I've stuck with my PS4 and got rid of my Xbox One. Why? A few reasons - one, I hate X1's UI and prefer the much simpler PS4's UI, and two, the PS exclusive games are usually some of the best on the market. My favorite gaming franchise is Uncharted - a PS exclusive. That said, Sony hasn't convinced me that I NEED the Pro. I don't have a 4K TV and likely won't for a few years. The Pro offers no game exclusives that ...
I am an Amazon Prime subscriber and I visit cheapassgamer regularly, but I've never seen Far Cry Primal or The Division at those prices; although used. (My nearest Best Buy is an hour away, so I see no point in joining it's "gamers club".) Cool thing about GameFly is that when you buy a game from them, they send you everything that originally came w/ that game in it's box, like DLC codes or whatever that are still redeemable, because GameFly only cared about renting ou...
Ok. Where can I find those prices for Far Cry Primal and The Division?
Just sayin' - and I'm a console gamer, but you actually can game from your couch with a PC.
I'm so impressed by this beta. I can't wait to get my hands on the full game.
It's more rude to put innocent people at risk, kill your best friend and have his kid grow up fatherless, when you know the potential consequences of the dangerous choice you're making. It is what it is. He might not have meant for this to happen, but it doesn't change the outcome of his bad decision. But his friend's choice was no better by getting in a car being driven by a drunk driver.
