I love my Xbox, but now is as good a time as any to pick up a PS3.
Assuming the PS4 is only a few years away, I think it would be a smart move for Sony to capitalize on the number 4 and release Uncharted 4 and God Of War 4 as PS4 launch titles. I know the PS4 would be a Day 1 buy for me if they had that kinda fire power coming out of it.
Pretty sweet deal. A friend of mine has been sitting on his copy of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2.. I'm gonna have to give him a heads-up. I've already got rid of all the Xbox games I've wanted to part ways with.. got a few PS3 ones, though, I could give up.
I wonder if you still get your 10% bonus along with that 40%?
I wonder what the avatar fatalities will be, considering avatars are not even allowed guns. The CE probably comes with a free avatar outfit, but I'm betting they'll be made available to all XBL members via marketplace.
Legends Of Wrestling was a great concept, poorly executed.
I saw the avatar items.. only one that interested me in buying was the million dollar belt prop; although seeing my avatar dressed up like the wrestlers was kinda funny.
Can't wait to SHAKE, RATTLE and ROLL with HTM in April.
awesome! i'm tempted to run out to GameStop today and pre-order the PS3 version.
true.. and i've thought about that. it would definitely allow them to compete as far as games go, but since Hollywood doesn't support the format and since nowadays Microsoft and Sony both market their consoles as not just gaming consoles, but all around ENTERTAINMENT centers, Sony would still have the edge with the Hollywood supported blu-ray format.
Sony has been working on blu-ray's successor for some time now. Physical media isn't going anywhere, anytime soon, which is why Sony has a huge advantage going into the next generation of consoles.
Not this year and probably next year either, although an announcement next year of some kind is likely.
Either way, I think next gen is going to belong to Sony, unless Microsoft dishes out some $$$ and pays Sony for the rights to use blu-ray. That, plus I think Sony learned a lot this generation in terms of what the consumer wants and is willing to pay - the price of the NGP is evidence of that. Without blu-ray support or something like it, I just don't think Microsoft ...
Thing is you don't always have that and have no way of knowing rather or not the game you're wanting is going to be released in that way. So you buy it Day 1, much like you goto a theatre to watch a movie, instead of waiting for it to come to DVD (with bonus features) and rent it for much cheaper. It's almost HUMAN to want things NOW, not later.
I just bought this game (minus the DLC) for $15 at Buy.com about 2 weeks ago.
I would've gave the game a 3/5. I tried playing it the other day and, while the style killing was fun for awhile, it wore off quick. I'm usually into these kinda games, but not this one.
considering the style of which Mortal Kombat is, i don't think there is video game character greater than Kratos. but if there was going to be an Xbox exclusive character, it's gotta be COLE TRAIN!
but wasn't this game hacked with all characters, endings revealed a few weeks ago? if something was hidden - it wouldn't be now.
I don't know anybody that hasn't downloaded atleast a few XBLA titles, but they (like me) prefer a physical copy of the game. The thing is, the majority of the XBLA games are not available on any disc, but they're CHEAP and generally don't take up much hard drive space. So, if I see one that catches my interest and downloading it is the only way I can get it - I'll buy it.
in 2 weeks. next week, if you have a code from Killzone 3.
Publishers that don't have an original idea should not make new IPs.
I liked what I played of it, but I think Ultimate Warrior/Rey Mysterio was a bad choice for the demo. They should have went with The Rock and John Cena.. build on their Wrestlemania showdown. I'll still be getting the game next week when it comes out.
For what it is, Yoostar 2 is actually pretty good. You just can't take it, what you're doing and yourself too seriously. I had fun with it.
I've played it and it's actually pretty fun. Graphically it doesn't display you as clear as the actors appear in the commercial for the game, but it's still fun as long as you don't take yourself seriously.
