I'm sure whatever they reveal will look amazing - they always do. But in the end, it's still just another Call Of Duty game.
If I didn't already know what Gears Of War was, that box art wouldn't exactly stand out to me. It's not that impressive.
CM Punk is one of the best heel characters to come along in years. Not only is the guy one of the most technically efficient performers in WWE right now, but one of the greatest talkers in the business today.
Someone brought up he's not as good as The Rock, Triple H and Stone Cold. Well, how good would The Rock be if there was NO Triple H or Stone Cold? How good would Stone Cold been without The Rock? In today's WWE, CM Punk is in a very lonely class of superstars...
Yes, people still buy these games. A LOT of people still buy these games, just as WWE has sold out arenas week after week all around the country, around the world. It is a global phenomenon that people WATCH, people INVEST in, and people LOVE. Take a peek out from underneath the rock you're living under every now and then and get with the NOW.
i bought one a few weeks ago when Kmart had them on sale for $130. so, i guess i got a headstart on the savings. i want the NGP, but i'd rather wait about a year after it's release so they can fix some of it's bugs. the PSP 3000 will keep me occupied till then.
I already have a PS3, but at that price, I'd totally buy another to have in the bedroom, instead of spending a $100+ on a stand alone blu-ray player for the bedroom (which I've been planning to do.)
I'll be picking up my copies of Killzone 3 and Bulletstorm at Kmart when it opens so that I can get $40 worth of in-store credit.
It's the way of the world to play whatever system is handing out easy money. More power to this woman for doing what essentially perfectly healthy Americans do to get a government check the 1st of every month. Not that I condone it, but that's just how it is.
Played the demo - thought the game seemed a bit bland and not much of an improvement. I'll be skipping it.
People are stupid.
Battlefield 3 is #3 on my list of games for 2011.. right behind Uncharted 3 and Batman: Arkham City, but it definitely is showing the potential to move upto the #1 spot. I can't wait to get my hands on the beta.. hopefully SOON!
best post ever!
I JUST BOUGHT A CODE.
i actually bought Alan Wake when it first came out back in May of last year. unfortunately, it came out the same day Red Dead Redemption came out and my one-track mind basically ignored AW for a month while i played RDR. by the time i got to AW, i was already moving onto newer games. so, i never really got into it and traded it before completing it. maybe now i'll actually FINISH the game since i can't trade in DLC, plus i downloaded the ga...
downloading it now.. if it sucks, that's what the delete button is for, but it'll be a nice reason to break out the Move controller before KZ3 hits next week.
This is definitely a positive for us PS+ subscribers. I've only been a subscriber for a few months now and, while some of the content they have released makes me wonder why I ever signed up, they then go and release something like this reminding me why it was such a GREAT IDEA that I did.
Now if you'll excuse me.. I'm gonna go check out the exclusive to PS+ subscribers YAKUZA 4 demo I downloaded this morning.
Considering it took them YEARS to finally get a Batman game RIGHT, they're treading on dangerous ground with this one.
What they trying to do, convince people they didn't realize how good the game was until they thought it was gone?
If Activision wants to bring this series back to life - for starters, release one more installment that is absolutely fantastic. Then, release EVERY song that was exclusive to disc as discounted DLC or arrange so that people that have the old games can import the songs over to the new game. Follow that up by releasing GOOD DLC every week and not another ne...
just give me Battlefield 3 and call it a day.
It seems like Activision's true plans are to just destroy the video game industry altogether. Guitar Hero - dead! Call Of Duty - on the verge! Now they're looking at killing BioShock, Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption.
So, basically, you're saying COD needs to be more like Battlefield.
