Mandatory installs are KILLING my 250 GB HDD. I've had my PS3 for less than a year and I already have less than 100 GB left due mostly to various rental installs. I haven't taken the time to figure out how to delete some of them. Anybody know how?

Platinumed LEGO POTC lastnight and I'd say it ranks up there with LEGO Harry Potter as far as quality goes, but it's still just another same ol' LEGO game with few improvements. Great if you're a LEGO fan or a POTC fan (like me), but not much different than the old LEGO Star Wars games that have been out for years.
If it got hacked again.. I'd probably focus more on my Xbox. No way I'd get rid of my PS3, though.. too many great exclusives coming out for it and it's a heckuva blu-ray player.
I have multiple accounts on my PS3.. 2 of the accounts, I was able to change the password immediately and sign in. On my other accounts it told me directions to change the password would be EMAILED to me, which I received those emails a few hours later.
Yea, Kmart is awesome for it's game deals. And this is one of the best deals they've ever offered. I'll definitely be picking up my copy of LA Noire there.
Better to sign up IN-STORE for the Shop Your Way Rewards program, as you'll get your card (which you'll need a pin # off the back of, I believe) right there. Not liking that you have to activate your PSN account with the PS3 you originally signed up on.. I don't have access to that PS3 anymore! Plus, I have 2 PS3s now. So, if I update one and change the password.. when I update my 2nd PS3, will I have to change the password again?

Consider this, how many Lord Of The Rings and Harry Potter movies are there? But people bought tickets to ALL of those movies so that they could see the FULL story. I have Ghost Of Sparta, but haven't completed it yet. I'd definitely pick these up on disc for cheap, but it'd make more sense for them to be released on the PSN.
Come Fall when Twisted Metal and Uncharted 3 come out, I'm betting we'll see a huge jump in PS3 sales.. mostly from all the people who got rid of their PS3 wanting it back.
I've actually enjoyed the Gears 3 beta so much that I might actually participate this time. The only problem is.. Gears 2 isn't Gears 3.
I goto themexbox.com about a day or so after a theme is released and they usually have a preview posted. They have the LA Noire themes on there now.. the themes are not that bad, but the game's title is smack dab in the middle of them. I hate that. Some awesome looking themes have been ruined due to poor placement of a game's title.

I also purchased Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit, redeemed the code that came with my NEW copy of the game and have enjoyed online racing ever since.
This is actually a pretty ballzy move on Activision's part considering EA has vowed to push Battlefield 3 hard with advertising. But whatever. I don't play COD multiplayer, but if I was into that game, I think the question I would be asking is..

Keyword there, buddy.. is USED. The online pass is included at no extra charge if you buy the game NEW, which is how a company like EA makes money.. money that supports not just EA, but the game's developers, which keeps them in business to continue making bigger and better games for us to play. I fully support the idea of the online pass in this way.
Not really that surprising something like this was going to happen. You have 100s of members - eventually, 1 or more of those members is going to get ticked-off and start talking, especially if they're thinking the law is about to break down their door. There are way too many egos in the hacking community for a group like Anonymous to last for long.

InFamous 1 FREE right before the release of InFamous 2.. yea, I could see that happening. It could boost InFamous 2's sales. I know I'd be all for it, because I've never played InFamous before - almost bought it today actually, but picked up Heavy Rain instead.
(It'd be my luck Heavy Rain will be the freebie, although doubtful.. I can't see them releasing an M-rated game as the freebie.)
It was a bit of a trick, but I always managed to get Netflix to work on my PS3 during the downtime. Besides that, I also have it on my Xbox, so I was never without it. I mainly use Netflix to rent the newest blu-rays anyway. So I'm cool with Netflix not giving any reimbursement. None needed.
