Considering the game comes out in about 3 weeks, this or next week would be a good time to release the demo. It's all good, though - come Tuesday, I'll be playing the Mortal Kombat demo.
Looking sharp! My interest in this game just increased from ZERO to about a 2. Not a day one purchase, but I might check it out when it gets cheap.
After playing Kinect Sports bowling with the fam for several weeks and then trying this out I can tell you it's HORRIBLE! and BORING! Stick to Kinect Sports. It's way better.
considering the staggering amount of "fanboys" lurking around every corner of N4G.. i can't say he's wrong.
Just like Bungie's next game will be. If it ain't Halo, nobody will care.
WHO a DUTY what??? that looked AMAZING!
Went to GameStop, got and redeemed my code yesterday.
If you try to play the beta now it kicks you off Xbox Live and begins like Gears 2 with the Epic logo, then a screen pops up saying you'll need atleast 2 GB hard drive space to play the beta when it's available. When you exit the beta, you automatically log back onto Xbox Live.
I'm not getting why this was labeled NSFW.
You should have just pre-ordered Gears 3.
It'll be interesting to see where those excited about the "idea" of Gears coming to PS3 will stand this Fall when Gears Of War 3 comes out exclusive to Xbox.
I'm not hating on Sony. I love my PS3 just as much as I love my Xbox and I OWN both the Move and Kinect.
If Sony has successfully targeted YOU with it's "mark," that's great. Unfortunately, there are more gamers in the world than just you. But again, I'll repeat what I said before "Sony just hasn't done anything about making it a must-have device." You mention KZ3, which the Move can be used with, but it's still not a MUST-HAV...
AWESOME! Time to update my website.
Everyone has a right to an opinion. Personally, I think the Move is a bit of a letdown. It's far better than the Wii's motion controller, but Sony just hasn't done anything about making it a must-have device. Unlike Microsoft, which has done a great job marketing Kinect.
To begin with, I am a PS3 and Xbox 360 owner. I love both consoles equally and have put a LOT of money into each console. So, I'm not a "fanboy." I'm a gamer.
But Microsoft has dropped the ball on exciting gamers with what's to come in 2011. Major Nelson even recently twitted that Microsoft wouldn't have anymore game reveals till E3, in June! That's ridiculous! While Sony has already gotten the ball rolling with a few exclusive releases (LB...
Between the Dead Space games and Dante's Inferno, Visceral is becoming one of my favorite game developers. Whatever they come up with next could be exciting.
I'm looking forward to this one - gotta kinda tired of the Lego games (but Harry Potter was good), but I'm a big fan of Pirates Of The Caribbean and this letting you play through the original trilogy AND the new movie is a major WIN in my book. A definite BUY for me.
actually CliffyB has said a few times there would be OTHER ways beside Bulletstorm to get into the beta. he just never said what the OTHER ways would be.
wow! that's awesome.
i've been having the crappiest of all weeks. my wife has been sick and unable to work costing us a few hundred bucks and my tax lady told me my income tax return would've been in over a week ago - it wasn't and i still haven't got it and we could really use it right now. with it, i was planning on buying Bulletstorm (and Killzone 3). but now that i know THIS, i'll be RENTING Bulletstorm, for sure. i hear it's campaign is o...
my local Walmart says differently.
Could you yourself create a game like Gears Of War? Or a movie like Avatar? Or maybe one of those fancy meals of virtually nothing that sell for hundreds of dollars at a fancy restaurant?
Give those with a creative mind props, because year after year, in video games, in movies, and in many other ways, they blow our minds with things us normal folk would otherwise think impossible.
