I wish DICE and EA would just release the game already. 4 more months of whiners nitpicking over what BF3 can and cannot do might drive me insane.
And I thought COD fans were bad!
It doesn't matter if you compare it to 770 million hacked accounts. Fact is, IF this hack actually happened, "some emails and passwords" could just have easily been MILLIONS of emails and passwords.
This hacking problem isn't just a Sony problem or a PS3 fanboy problem.. it's a problem for ALL gamers, no matter the platform a gamer chooses. And as gamers - and the true VICTIMS of these hacks - we should encourage and back companies like Sony and Micros...
Eh, I say let them hack it. The more they hack, the more they increase their chances of getting busted and I can't see these 2nd rate petty Anonymous wannabes LulzSac lasting long.
you're gonna have to do a lot better than that.
amazing games like what?
I hope the Wii version is better than the PS3 version, because the PS3 version sucked! Glad I only rented it.
5 seconds after firing this game up on the PS3 this October nobody is going to care that the PC version might have better graphics. The game LOOKS amazing! If graphics being a smudge better on PC bothers you THAT much.. then buy the PC version of the game and shut up!
I have no doubt that a LBP3 is on the way; although it's probably a ways off. But how anyone gets LBP3 possibly being hinted at based on that ad is beyond me.
Nowadays, when someone says SEGA, I think bad comic book games.. and that forgettable, yet hugely hyped RPG spy game. The company has went downhill and it's name attached to anything is bound to be a disappointment.
I think it's way too early to tell what "customers" think of the game. It's not like the first week buyers had a chance to try out the game before they bought it - they bought it, because of the hype and because it's Duke Nukem. Heck, the game hasn't even been out a week yet. Let's see how well this game sells in the next few weeks. Then you can get an idea of what the "customers" truly think.
Save your excuses and apologies for the courts, douchebags!
EA is foolish to think BF3 will out-sell MW3. I'm sure both games will have amazing sales, but the COD fanbase is much larger than the BF fanbase and it won't matter to those fans that BF3 is the better game. They'll buy MW3 regardless.
I'm honestly hoping MW3 out-sells BF3, though, because chances are, if BF3 (which I love) out-sells MW3.. it'll only be a matter of time before EA starts exploiting the Battlefield series just as Activision exploits Call ...
Installs are the #1 thing I absolutely HATE about the PS3. Installing Duke Nukem Forever took awhile, too. But the absolute worst was with WWE All Stars when it has to "clear the cache" every once in awhile.
I don't think it's any secret that there will be more Gears.. Epic has been kinda lousy at keeping that secret. But I doubt we'll see anything about it at E3 2012.. maybe sometime in 2013.
glitches happen. had he never said anything, nobody would have even knew it was a glitch - they'd just dismiss it as jimmy fallon sucking at video games. besides that, the game's release is still 3 months off - plenty of time to fix such glitches - and what game HASN'T released without a single glitch?
I'm enjoying the game. It's basically a hack 'n slash, platformer, but the twisted Wonderland theme makes it interesting and easy to get into. The graphics are a bit washed out, but seem fitting for the kind of atmosphere the game creates. I'm only a few hours into it on Nightmare difficulty and it's been fun. I'm looking forward to spending more time with it.
Determining a price-point beforehand kept them inline with what they could and could not do with this system. Why spend money developing the thing only to discover in order to make a dollar, they're going to have to sell it for $1000? This was a SMART move on Sony's part.
For the most part I agree with you, but I think ALL ASPECTS OF THE GAME, including preorder DLC, should be made available to ALL GAMERS either at a later date and/or for a small fee. Some people don't like to "trust" a developer to make a great game and blindly preorder thinking they'll get just that, but then end up with a major dud like DUKE NUKEM FOREVER.
Plus, why should those who discover the game 3 months or even a day after it's release be punish...
I really don't see what the big deal is. Find a gun you like that is available to you, stick with it. It's that simple. If you're so hung up on and blinded by a special downloaded weapon thats really just for show, so much that you'll dismiss what promises to be one of the best games of the year, you're only screwing yourself.
I usually don't have the time to beat a game within 24 hours and days add up. I don't want to stress trying to get thru a game simply because it's going to be returned 'late'. I'd rather take my time and actually enjoy it by playing it at my own pace. Gamefly enables me to do that with a set monthly fee. RedBox, I fear, would not.
