"We want our players to have access to the stats. We don't want to take anything away. Our value proposition is giving players more choice and not taking anything."
But there money.
You guys enjoying boycotting and good luck with that. Me, I just preordered the game yesterday, paid for it in full, so that I can enjoy it come October. And when I'm up on a rim sniping those with the fancy weapons pack.. well, it ain't gonna matter much what kinda gun they're carrying when I drop them.
I unlocked Thrashball Cole and had more than enough matches in to unlock the Retro Lancer, but I hated that gun, sucked at using it, and it wasn't FUN for me to try and get enough kills with it, so, I stayed with the guns that I liked and enjoyed the hell out of it. Can't wait for 9/20 to kill some more.
It'd be kinda cool if they based the DLC by region and made it where you could get American made guns in the U.S... European made guns in the U.K... and so on. Obviously, the guns would have to be equal to one another for the sake of fairness.
That said, I believe preorder DLC should ALWAYS be made available to everyone eventually, rather by selling it on the store/marketplace or giving gamers an opportunity to earn it in-game.
I'll pass. If I wanted a last gen game, I'd bought a Wii.
I loved the first Borderlands.. more than Fallout 3 even. I'd be all over a sequel when it's released.
A month after it's release, I'd bet you could find it for half that price.
I'll pick this up when it goes cheap, which shouldn't take long considering the competition it'll be facing this Fall and the Christmas sales not long afterwards.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAAAA!!!
I hope they release the names soon so I know who I am laughing at directly, but for now, I'll just laugh at Anonymous as a whole.
Losers!
Keep in mind, this game could be a ways off before it's actually released. They haven't announced a release date yet -- a lot could (and probably will) change.
I'm figuring we won't see it hit stores till Spring 2012.
THIS and BF3 are the only things that blew my mind coming out of E3. can't wait!
I'm crazy stoke for this game. I hope they let us know a release date soon.
$299.99 to $349.99, tops!
Nobody is going to convince a COD fan that their game is inferior. No point in even trying.
As much as I'm looking forward to BF3 (and I couldn't stress enough how big a fan I am of BFBC2), EA/DICE put on an amazing demonstration, BUT they dropped the ball by not showing a console version of the game. I still think the game will be loads better than COD, especially if they're not changing things much with MW3 (and it doesn't look like they are), but I won&...
So, Sony AND Nintendo have both been hacked. That makes me wonder if Microsoft has been hacked also, but isn't telling us about it.
On the other hand, it's Microsoft - they probably deal with hack attempts on a daily basis.
I enjoyed trying to find new ways to accomplish missions, which was a challenge, but I wouldn't go as far as saying the game was difficult. It's one of the first games I 1K'd on Xbox.
Ehh.. i wouldn't call it a thinking man's game. Clues are easy to find.. just let the controller vibrate and listen to see if the music is still playing. It's not rocket science. Interrogations are not that hard either.. if they roll their eyes or turn their head, they're more than likely lying.. so, you doubt what they're saying, unless you have evidence proving their lying, inwhich case you tell them so. The game is a no-brainer.
I guess that depends on your definition of creative. LA Noire is as repetitive as hell. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the game.. to a degree, but the fun factor dropped drastically as I did the samething case after case. Look for clues, talk to witnesses/suspects, drive to another destination, inwhich case I was usually interrupted in doing so by a street crime popping up requiring me to drive in the opposite direction I was already heading - shoot whoever at the street crime, then ret...
Sony will make up a lot of their losses by just charging gamers alittle more than they were planning.. like, a new PSN title that would've only been $5.99 had the hack never happened, will instead be $6.99 or $7.99. Sony might be showering us gamers with gifts now, but ultimately, we'll be the ones who pay the price of the breach..
something all those 'genius' hackers out there don't seem to realize.
Did anyone else feel like they were following Mr. Garrison from South Park around during the campaign? The voice was spot on. It got on my nerves listening to the guy.
