I don't know why so many people seem to think that 360 owners are getting screwed here. I bought a launch 360 and to be honest, I think that the elite is a rip-off. The developers have always been making games for the core with subroutines to use the HD if available and as far as the different sku's, what's different? How big the hard drive is is meaningless to devs. A different output connection? Hell, no harder to support than the two different connections already available. If anything, there are less likely to be problems on hdmi than component since there is no dac to deal with on hdmi.

Well, using the backwards logic of the author, then I guess that as time is going on, the 360 is actually gaining more and more momentum through selling more now than they did a year ago despite being over a year old without having a price drop. I think that the fact that the xbox version is even remotely comparable says just how good the original was. A good game for the PS3 but I was a little underwhelmed, expected a lot more. It basically looks like the original but at 720p. Lots of time to add polish though.
Hmmm... I don't think this would be a good buy for MS. buying Take-Two only buys GTA. This company is known for the franchise but outside of that what do they have? How much more milage does the GTA franchise have left? Take Two isn't really known for their developer quality if you know what I mean...

Deepbrown, I imagine that updates will probably get bundled with new games on disc as they are released if you are still worried... This is pretty common practice on the pc and 360 (I think the original xbox too, not sure), I don't imagine the ps3 will be any different.

This is one of the major problems with downloadable content in my opinion. The company packs in as few features as possible so they can later sell you the content they left out.
