Sorry, I assumed it was the fetch-stuff Borderlands does most of the time. I never noticed or cared about the Bullymong stuff as it was rarely out of my way to accomplish. His quests with bullymongs in the first parts of the game are where they're pretty much the only animal you can fight. When the game opens up more his quests move to dealing with other animals.

Anyway it's just a rather extreme assumption that this DLC will be exactly like his quests in the main gam...

Sensationalist headline is sensationalist.

Why not blame the quest design the developers chose instead of the character? It's not like his invovement inherently means we'll get even more of the kinds of quests he gave out by any means. They're two seperate things.

Anyway, I personally liked his missions. The Bullymong one was hilarious. If you hate fetch-quests with a burning passion I have to wonder how you can enjoy Borderlands to begin with.

Is the piont-and-click adventure genre no longer considered part of gaming or something?

I see no reason to complain about more stuff for your money. There's been a few games I've flipped the cover for because I liked the back one better.

I'm voting for #4 with Songbird. He's basically the new Big Daddy and I think it would fit in very well next to Bioshock 1's cover (to have him the poster-whateverthatis). The exact art in question here isn't what I'd call perfect, but what can you do?

Ideally I'd have the box art...

I find it believable. EA was in control in the latter parts of ME2's development and the gameplay was taking a very sharp turn toward MP-friendly shooting. They don't really need to justify ME3's MP like this, anyway.

I'm more concerned about that release window for the new Mass Effect game. After this trilogy ended on a very sour note in terms of reception I'd like them to take extra time in concieving a completely new story. Around 2-3 years sounds a bi...

^ Pretty much.

Unless there's a reliable study about something like this, we can't tell for sure. Only assume (or pretend we know, evidently here). The only thing we can be absolutely spot-on about is our own behavior regarding this.

ND is not "pandering" to feminists. They told us there was some pressure to take Ellie off the front, explained why that happened, and that they refused to comply with it. That's it. No one is raging about p...

That likely comes from games being interactive. Movies and TV shows are typically criticized far more often than books for "going too far" on things because they are a visual medium, along similar lines. Some parents find mature content obscene and many don't want their kids being exposed to it.

Thing is, if you don't like it don't involve yourself with it. If you don't want your kids to be exposed to it, don't let them. Be responsible, these a...

I hope the religious themes aren't a retread. Magic girl tied to the city's fate who is worshipped by a cult led by her corrupt parent while the protagonist trying to rescue her is being branded as some sort of demon? That sounds like the basic plot of Bioshock 2 all over again, not that I don't acknoledge Infinite has a lot more going on than that.

On another note, I don't think videogames have censored much at all in dealing with certain topics. Rather dev...

Good thing the actual game is anything but generic.

If you ignore it long enough it starts telling kids to murder their parents and everyone getting in the way of playing with it.

I would rather have Elizabeth with him or Songbird on the cover, not just Booker in a moody pose. We may as call him Brooder Dewitt.

I think it could be interesting and is more possible given there's 3 protagonists, but evidently Rockstar chose against it. There are a lot of reasons they wouldn't want to like their demographic being men, most that would rather not play a woman. Or a ****storm that could arise if the media realized GTA can now have women slaughtering countless pedestrians through the streets too. Stuff like animation could also be an issue.

I'd personaly welcome it. I have no ...

Wat? Okay, THAT is sexism.

- Only one "Who lives?" scenario actually had any non-railroaded outcome which was in Ep.1, and even the person who survives that just dies close the beginning of Ep.3. Ben's case was similar. At least they felt involved for as long as they lived beyond their optional death, though.

- Who's with you at the end of Episode 4 doesn't really matter because they all come together after a certain event early on in Episode 5 anyway.

- What ...

I'm curious, what was wrong with DMC2? Combat, story, glitches, bad level design? I never played it.

4872d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I though the combat system was decent and I enojy Dante being more agile, although I do have some big issues with it. The new DT is short and keeps enemies from fighting back which is ridiculous and the dodge rolls cover a little too much distance, to name some.

Not a fan of the change in look at all. Most enemy designs are especially stupid-looking and despite giving the IP to a western developer the dialogue is even more ham-fisted.

I kinda have to agree. Mario Kart has been playing it rather irritatingly safe over the years. I'd like if they sped the racing up a bit with more ambitious tracks and new ideas. Just something to evolve.

And get rid of blue shells, ugh...

That's pretty sad. It's obvious the guy has a lot of passion and enthusiasm for what he does. Unfortunately passion and interesting ideas alone can't make a game good or put everything you want in it.
