I agree that this should be the actual issue here if it has to be anything, though being casual-friendly doesn't always mean it's not just as fun and won't be much more combat-effective for players who can use it expertly. Still marketing a DLC character as casual to gamers isn't very smart.
Wow what's the big deal? In all likelyhood the person who plays this games girlfriend isn't going to be an expert at shooters and because statistically many more guys play videogames and shooters. It's not saying girls are incompetent at videogames because they're girls. This is not belittling to girl gamers who are good at playing and would apply to guys who don't play videogames as well.
The dumbest thing here is marketing a DLC character you may have to...
I believe it was said 2 MP modes were cut, not that MP was ruled out entirely.
The only full benefit here is saved disk space. Otherwise they still most likely spent a large amount of resources and time investigating and developing things that was ultimately canned.
I wouldn't be entirely opposed to MP in Infinite. The large Columbia environments with the skylines and vigors and nostrums would be unique. I'm not going to complain about a solely SP foc...
The funny thing is most recent evolutions in Eastern gameplay design are simply following in the footsteps of the West, outright mimicking them in many cases. Not that the West didn't do that to the East for a while at one point earlier in gaming.
But both are no strangers to rehashing the same ground over and over again these days. That's for sure.
There isn't a thing that exists that isn't flawed, especially a series that has run for this long.
Zelda has had lows, but they are very few and even those lows are still quite enjoyable. And after 25 years that's incredibly impressive.
That said I'd like Nintendo to keep trying to mix up the formula and evolve the series. Skyward Sword did some of this, but a fair share of old and predictable designs are still present. Skyward Sword was g...
My point is that no one would say that if it we never knew about this. No one would say he was flashing sexuality if their was an article on his wife and this canned bisexuality never came up. If it was husband or boyfriend Lord have mercy on N4G. It wouldn't be an issue unlike this and that is a double standard. Like I said many don't even realize or want to admit their reaction toward the two situations would be quite different.
A fictional character being bisexua...
His backstory says he had a wife who died and will mention it in the game and is central to whatever amount of character he has. Is he still flashing his sexuality?
It's funny how many carry a double standard and don't even realize it. If a guy makes suggestions toward liking women it's fine and just part of his character, but when it's another guy he's suddenly shoving it in your face.
Oh and the screwing sheep comparison when talking...
Who cares if it's played for laughs? Most things in Borderlands have been for a while. That would hardly be unique.
And even a shallow character being bisexul doesn't make it caricature. As long as the writing isn't obsessing over it and/or sterotyping.
And how would this be relayed to the player since there's only passive taunts for combat situations?
"I just killed you mofos! Also I find both genders sexually attractive!" lol jk
Perhaps this suggests the new PC characters will talk more at points?
While I don't really care people have every right to make whatever Con they wish. It funds itself so what's the problem? If it manages to get some good product exclusives then I'm sure it could be productive to gaming as a whole.
Hell the MLP fandom has its own "BronyCon" and while I respect the fandom I think the need for a convention is utterly mental. But the thing is if I don't like it I don't have to go. If I do want to I can even if I'...
"It's funny how even certain words nowadays are bleeped out on television, like faggot, retard, and, for fear of being flagged for language, the "N" word."
That's because many find them personally offensive and don't want to hear them. Them not being used or allowed often in television isn't much of a sacrifice to people who don't find them offensive. Abstract and debatable values and of aristic freedom and anti-censorship don't t...
Will he be finished with it at some point before he dies? That's what I want to know right now.
I found his goals misguided and many of his methods repulsive and it didn't help he started taking stupid pills daily by ME3. I also don't like him for hogging the spotlight in ME3 when the Reapers should have been getting that development (seeing as they desperately needed it). Cerberus had its limelight in ME2 and their contrived insta-army shennanigans and lolindoctrination plot was wasted time and effort for the writers.
So my comment is stupid? Why don't you argue respectfully like a big boy?
The thing is the gaming industry is almost always pandering to men when making these "sexy" characters. There's tasteful sexy and then there's the things industries like videogames commonly do. Shameless camera angles, comically overblown proportions, and incredibly skimpy clothing are pandering to basest interests of males and that's not good for sophisticated settings and s...
Sexism is not just hatred. It can be prejudice and promoting stereotypes and objectification. These pictures in the article are definitley demonstrating on how videogames commonly objectify women into male sex objects and fantasies. What's not to understand?
Contrary to popular belief, someone can have sexist/racist views without holding any real ill-will or contempt toward the group.
I'm almost convinced this article is a joke. If so, good on the guy who wrote it.
If not it's pure egocentric slop. Those pictures in the article destroy his points and he doesn't even realize it. And plenty of his comments and points are indeed sexist.
Sorry, but you're in no position to claim "truth" when you haven't even played the game.
But seriously the creepy, effeminate psychopath with no regard for personal space is far from an uncommon character archetype in Japan. That does not Ghirahim gay by any means.
A preference is not a disorder. People finding things they like outside of the norm seems pretty "normal" to me. It's been that way since the dawn of man and it's simply part of our nature.
All people have their quirks and none deserve to be discriminated against or told there's something wrong with them for it.
Why tell us this? It's the post-game ultimate boss, for goddness' sake! Game developers really need to learn to lay off spoilers.
Think how awesome it would have been to discover this for the first time on your own with no idea it existed and being told you will die in the intro and promptly getting your ass kicked badly. Yeah well now it's spoiled.
