I agree with the article.
VAGUEish SPOILERS AHEAD. DO NOT READ FURTHER IF YOU DON'T WANT SPOILERS.

I enjoyed the series a lot, but pretty much every choice ended up railroaded. Out of 3 "Pick who lives and dies?" scenarios only one of them has an impact and that survivor only lasts a little over one full episode after and their. Then there's the one character in episode 4 you can save or let die who...
If he's looking at the Bioware Social Network it's no wonder he thinks this. That place has always been a cesspit and it's only gotten worse.
I know the Piston and SteamBox aren't the same, but are they related tech-wise or concept-wise?
I guess what I really want to know is if the SteamBox will be upgrade-able like a PC, as Piston demostrated it.
Stuff like regenerating health and maybe no swimming is disappointing, but the game still looks pretty good. Like a more open Uncharted with RPG-ish elements and exploration. I wouldn't judge the puzzles just yet and an optional cheat feature isn't killing anyone.
I just pray the QTEs, cinematic set-pieces, and Lara-beatings aren't laid on as thick as they seemed to be in the first footages. Here's hoping the game turns out great.
I agree. New Vegas (and Fallout 3) had more compelling content than Skyrim. If the combat were more interesting and the quests not so same-y I might have a different opinion.
In my experience New Vegas (360) had far worse bugs than both FO3 and Skyrim, though. I had to try booting up the game 4 times to get it to first play properly when I bought it and it froze at least every 2 hours. Not to mention the many bugs with NPCs, quests, and inventory I had to tolerate and work ar...
The game looks pretty good. I don't know if it looks like a good Tomb Raider game, but is still promising as an enjoyable experience.
It depends on what you're expecting going in and if you can recognize and appretiate what a game like Journey is trying to do.
I found the game very beautiful, soothing, and strangely touching (I was kind of confused why I teared up a little at the end). Some will agree with me, some won't. Journey isn't for everyone and the many articles like this are examples of that. All we can really do is respect each other's opinions.
A bona fide expansion? Color me interested.
It doesn't seem to be about what people want. Square is doing what it wants to, fans be damned, for better or worse.
I'd rather they be done with the XIII series and move on, but XIII-2 left on a ridiculous cliffhanger that pretty much obligated SE to create a new title for a finale.
I gotta say I'm liking that there will be actual customization here.
Not sure what to think about with the new and radically different gameplay, but it'd be hard-pressed to be worse than the combat system of the previous two.
As much as I find stuff like Soul Calibur women annoying and weird, the only thing you can do is tolerate it. It's like shouting at the wind to stop, there's really nothing you can do.
The Silent Hill HD Collection was atrocious, but just having Silent Hill 2 and 3 is completely understandable. You can't pull off the original Silent Hill, a PS1 game, in HD and The Room (SH4) wasn't recieved too well.
The title of the article almost had me think there were actual details of the multiplayer.
I understand. I enjoyed Journey greatly, but I know it's not for everyone.
Tried it myself. Can't say I'm impressed, sadly. It was far more frustrating than fun and it was plagued by connection issues.
The combat looks okay-ish and I like that Dante can finally run like he isn't dragging bricks by his ankles constantly.
Really do not like the new aesthetic and direction, though. Environments and enemies are very bland. The new Dante is Euro-punk to an obnoxiuos degree with an attitude not unlike a common bully to match. And the dialogue is somehow worse despite the game being handed to a more western studio.
I think Elizabeth still has her old look. She just changes out of the schoolgirl outfit and into the blue dress at some point. We still see her in it in the new footage - in places that are obviously later in game.
The enemy designs are really bland. That's not something I like saying about a Devil May Cry game.
Why announce it to the public if you don't know it will ever actually happen? Just a shameless move to hype the Vita?
Color me excite. Loved Fallout 3. The depressing atmosphere, strangely haunting music, and bleak scenery were all incredible and what I loved the most from it.
