Thou doth condescend and rant too much.
Horror has its good share of fans and they have not disappeared over the years.
There are several horror franchises that did well in the past (but today have woefully gone astray) and we still have gems that do well here and there today, like Amnesia.
Most women are weak because they are brought up to be in suvservient lifestyles in most cultures with expected duties of taking care of the home, raising kids, or being pretty for people. There are some exceptions in history with civilizations that let women fight and several badass women who broke social expectations to become heroes. Women can be badass, but most are not raised to be viable for such roles. So yeah a female MC curbstomping fools left and right would be very unlikely, but... ...
Why does Gearbox put its name on things and sell them as its own if it's not even making most of the product in question? All it does is brand them as lazy (or over-loaded with game developments) and give them a bad reputation.
DA2 was severely rushed. You could tell by the constant reuse of environments and how the ending was essentially little more than a walk-out cinematic after the final boss. Not to mention just the overall poor pacing and structure of the story, which is unusual for Bioware. There were also some iffy decisions with the combat system.
But to be fair they had some good new ideas going, like branching skill trees, being able to further interaction with companions without being ...
"Well, have you ever thought what a mashup between these two games could look like?"
Luigi's Mansion?
Many of us spent over $500-$600 on a PS3. I assume this sounds like a relatively good deal to most.
"Oh my God, I'm so surprised!" - No One
Here's the breakdown:
- Chronologically, the Wii U is next-gen. It is new on the market and will be competing with other new consoles.
- The Wii U does not have next-gen graphics tech. It is composed of very archaic parts for graphical output. It's comparable to the aged current-gen, but not to what the new Xbox and PS4 will be.
- You could consider the controller next-gen tech for opening new gameplay possibilities for a mainstream gaming console....
Why can't people talk about hardware without it turning into a collosal pissing contest? Fanboys, I guess.
Disliking things makes you cool and cultured.
Here's to hoping it turns out great.
From what I can tell it seems the new rendering and new engine aren't finished, which is why it isn't finished. Seperate teams work on building the world and improving graphical aspects.
Still, even now this is very impressive to see for an open-world game with a map supposedly 20 times larger than Skyrim.
With the dark lighting from the environment it's impossible to tell how detailed it is. You would barely be able to see in it that scene if it weren't for the specular maps. If it isn't that detailed, it could be just becuase you won't see it it anything but dark lighting. Likewise, no way to tell.
But really, this is just a very brief moment of footage in a darkly lit level in a far from finished build. There's no way we can scutinize it to judge or get...

I don't quite understand the how commercial airflights put a sobering reality on the dream of human flight.
You have no input over such flights and they all have pre-defined destinations. You let the pilot do his job and sit in a chair for a few hours. And business/scheduling problems often cause irritating delays. That's what you sign up for.
It's not comparable to one-man plane where the person can control the vehicle and roam the sky howeve...
Just so everyone knows, there's very little in the list that would constitute as story spoilers. The names of some levels are all that I see.
Once again Patcher doesn't know what he's talking about. It's been stated multiple times by devs working with next-gen tech that the graphical leap won't be as staggering as the last one. We're a long way off from Avatar graphics.
And 240FPS is ridiculously overboard. Going much further beyond 60FPS is pointless for a number of reasons.
Borderlands 2 was pretty damn funny and had several amusing characters, but the actual meat of the plot wasn't anything special. It's was all pretty cliche and skin-deep.
But I'm pretty sure this guy knows the humor was a hit with the fans. Why get all butthurt over an award?
