I enjoyed Bulletstorm. And the marketing was at least in line with the often silly, fun tone of the game.
I also find it odd this comment is coming pretty soon after the thing he said about Saints Row, it being immature I mean.
I wish they'd just come out and say "We want more money!"
I could at least respect the honesty and sincerity.
The gameplay definitely wasn't what horror should be, but I'm not going to deny the game looks quite good graphically. Though that doesn't count for anything when the gameplay is poor.
Regardless, they did announce and update us on a fair deal of promising titles. That's enough for me. More is sure to come at E3.
I dunno. Madworld, Bayonetta, and Vanquish were pretty great (especially Bayonetta). I haven't tried MGR, but P* is a proven developer both now and in the past as Clover.
Gorgeous. The new lighting really makes all the difference.
The HD conversion of the game was far from finished when these shots were taken, though. Just showing that one area, the sparseness of it, and the few character models shown are telling of that.
Why are people acting like this is E3? This would be fairly underwhelming there, but for a 30 minute online broadcast used to communicate new developments with fans this is a lot of promising news and titles.
You mean from the Nintendo Direct? They brought up a plethora of good stuff.
For realz? Wind Waker HD is actually happening? I can die happy now.
I was a hater and a friend who was never a DMC fan got the game just to spite me. He liked it so I decided to give it a try. Now I'm a believer.
I still think the old style was much better. I'm mostly not a fan of the new enemy and character designs. I haven't changed my mind that the new Dante and and some other aspects are too punk-ish. There are some occasional audio issues and the dialogue can be just as bad as the old series in spots.
But I t...
Many of the Colossi from SotC would be a good example. When you're trying to get onto them their ineptitude makes sense due to their size and slowness, but once you get on them... Could they try brushing their arm? Scraping you against a wall? Swatting you like an annoying fly? SotC would be impossible if the Colossi did this.
Or when you fight a Reaper in ME3. It just kind of stands in place in the backround lazily dragging a laser at you when it could just quickly, poin...
I don't like large bosses typically. It always feels like they're being lazy and stupid and overall just really half-assing the fight.
I know that's how it has to be so you can win (due to numerous gameplay/animation limitations), but still.
I'd be interested to see which character this was and how he/she was changed after the game is released.
I'm very intrigued. It seems like virtual reality done right for once.
As far as gaming immersion goes this is very possibly revolutionary.
The edition comes with that? That's stupid. Why would someone want that? Wait... nevermind.
I know. It's incredible, isn't it?
I guess this is what happens when you release full add-ons so soon. They end up rushed. Whatever developer Gearbox outsourced this DLC to needs more time. Scarlett was poor and Torgue was just decent. It sounds like this will be more like Scarlett, though thankfully with a few new enemies that are more than reskins.
I'll still give it a try. Hoping for the best.
Nothing is ruling out the Boston setting. That was rumored long before this.
There's a good deal of very talented musical artists in the gaming industry. Some leagues better than many of those working in blockbuster movies, IMO.
So yeah, what the top guy^^ said.
Maybe I missed something, but I don't see anything in that interview even suggesting LR will decide the future of the franchise.
