I can take negative feedback and that was never my issue. I don't think the game is perfect either. Like I said, missed opportunities and the game felt like it sometimes tried to do too much with the story for a 10-hour game.
When you say "It was bad. Deal with it." and implying that those more critical of the game are the superior opinion how is anyone supposed to guess you're intentionally talking to your own ego? When you post something or speak outloud, ...
It's a shame. The game has a lot of good ideas and it shows, but it looks noticably rough around the edges.
Not that it looks horrible or anthing, though. Just not as polished as it should be. I hope it ends up at least decent. We need more original, quality IPs.
"Slowly the voices of reason are rising up. Infinite is not that great game that so many has praised it to be."
"The game was bad. Put on your shades and deal with it."
I have no issue with your opinion or any negative opinions on the game. The comments I quoted are what I do have a problem with. You're not trying to voice an opinion when you say that, you're trying to present your thoughts as fact.
Voices of reason...? Maybe others just have different, you know, opinions? Honestly, it's like people have grown so egocentric they can't even grasp what subjectivity is anymore. Just because you didn't like the game doesn't make it a fact.
A lot of people have been criticizing the game ever since its release. Yeah it has flaws and there are definitely some missed opportunites (Songbird and the Vox), but I still found it great regardless and thought it did a l...
Team Ninja is sure loving their ports and remakes lately.
I really want to play as Sam and Wolf, but I'm not going to pay $10 for and 1-2 hours with recycled environments and bosses.
The worst part is that not only are games getting harder and more costly to make, they're generally becoming shorter and of less value at the same time.
And when you put more money on the line for a game, the more you need to appeal to broad, mainstream crowds. And that just bleeds out the creativity and risk-taking the industry needs. Dead Space 3 here is a textbook example of conforming for the sake of profit.
These videogame engineers should be put to ...
Hopefully these big publishers and studios realize these sales expectations are absolutely loony and shift their development efforts and budgets accordingly.
There is something seriously wrong if a game selling millions of units and is still considered a commercial flop.
It'll be the perfect terrorism-simulator for that area. Or at least that's what the news channels will be saying around release.
We all know it's coming. It happens with every GTA game.
It never ceases to amaze me how we can't even talk about the possibility of female protagonists in anything without the discussion turning into a cesspit of prejudice, accusations, and rants. Society hasn't really come that far, after all.
I wouldn't mind a female protagonist. I don't feel strongly either way and I care about a well-written protagonist first and foremost, but a female character should be just as viable an option for a lead character.
There's no indication on any exact length based on this one comment, even compared to previous PG games. All PG games tend to be 10 hours or less and are easily completable if you play them much of the day. But they have a lot of incentive to replay chapters to make up for it.
Bayonetta, for instance, wasn't the longest game ever made, but damn was it fun and had heaps of unlockables.
Politics are fine in the places to discuss them. Here they can only serve to distract and cause flame wars. They're irrelevant and only detrimental. It's the very reason they're a common tool for trolls.
I'm saying be an adult by keeping it on topic and don't post things that can serve as flame-bait. This is no place to jab at politics or politicians. This article is just about a voice actress, for goodness' sake.
You do realize that if she doesn't know who she played then the most likely scenario is that Rockstar gave her little to no context notes or even introduced her to the character she was playing, right?
If that is the case, she was with little doubt just playing a generic female NPC you see plenty of travelling around the world.
@WUTCHUGUNNADO
Really? Don't bring that into this. Be an adult and keep the politics away from this gaming d...
Revelations was very good and the closest thing RE has gotten to real survival horror in years (which actually isn't saying much), but I don't think it's an undisputed contender for best 3DS game. There's plenty more great titles.
I'm only 5 hours in FE:A and I'm really enjoying it. It feels like I'm only scratching the surface, too.
It looks fine, but yeah I'd rather they kept the old hand-drawn art style.
Hopefully the Wii U can pick up steam like the 3DS is right now.
Just sayin', being a bleeding heart over the bleeding hearts isn't much better.
I agree. I don't think the writer entirely understands what kind of game this is and what that means. Of course some of the environments will look sparse if there's not the multitudes of online players present. Not to mention the game is far from complete.
It looked good, especially for a console game of this type.
Uncharted had fine gameplay. It suffered from a few repetitious shooting segments and some pacing issues at times, but it was still perfectly functional and very enjoyable.
*Just looks at title*
So is a dark future for horror games a good thing or a bad thing?
