5GB? That sounds like a lot for an indie title, which are usually very tame as far as hardware requirements go. Kinda makes me wonder how expansive the game is. Hopefully it's being put to good use.
Persona 5 is on that same list, which almost beyond a doubt invalidates the whole thing. Would Atlus really reveal that outside of Japan first?
And there's stuff like Saint Row 5 and Arkham 3, franchises which have previously announced installments that aren't even released yet.
I'm not even sure he's a real person on twitter. Kamiya!Bot doesn't care 'bout yo feelings!
But I bet this is going to be another "Next week..." saga. Namely, people who haven't looked at his twitter history posting his reptitive trolling as if it's real news every other month.
I can imagine. Designers typically don't want to be tied down to a single IP their whole career.
When people say "politically correct" I find that they commonly confuse it with common courtesy and basic respect.
Kamiya had nothing to do with Rising, he was working on 101 ever since Bayonetta was done.
But whatever, from the disagrees I can tell people here don't care about the truth and fair judgement when they're inclined to rage at someone.
I sure hope kids weren't playing Bayonetta. :/
Kamiya is a massive troll on twitter. This is not the first time he has said this to anyone and it's one of his few responses to the hundreds of questions he answers. I'm almost convinced he's a twitterbot.
Though really, if he doesn't want to be asked the same question thousands of times, why be on twitter?
Opinions, dude. "Zombie Shooter" is a massive oversimplification of what the game is, especailly given reports that infected are the minority enemy in the game.
This is ridiculous. So much drama over a damn number. It's one simple review, why even give it this kind of attention if you disagree?
None of us have played the full game and none of us know how good it is. At least wait before all this rage and tears.
The first-person platforming worked well for me in Mirror's Edge. Even games that dabble in it like Metroid Prime and Half-Life work well. It's not much different from real-life spacial awareness and any flaws lie within the controls and physics. There was a learning curve, but once you got over all that it felt pretty natural. There are a couple places it needs refining, but overall it worked pretty well.
It was flawed, I'm not going to disagree there. Pacing iss...
There was a lot of stupid stuff happening this gen with developers and publishers, but it would be a complete lie to say we didn't get a lot of good games.
Awesomesauce. I hope the game lives up to the hype.
I find the whole "map pack" thing as it is kind of archaic and overpriced.
I could see a very intense stealth-focused mode that pits your team against the infected. Like Horde, but more stealthy and the enemies can easily sync-kill you.
I never put stock in first reivews, especially if they're aligned with an exclusive IP.
Don't get me wrong, though. TLoU look amazing, got it pre-ordered and everything. I expect it to be an truly awesome game, but I'm not going to let first reviews color my expectations.
Sadly, that's tough to do. New features that major need to be considered in the planning stages of development cycle.
Actually, the PSP was out far longer and had a much bigger user base in Japan when P3rd and FU came out. And P3rd and FU were original entries.
Tri 3DS is a port of a game that MH fans have already sunk dozens, if not hundreds of hours into.
Just some insight into why it sold less.
There is no reason the game has to look this bad on the same console that ran RE:Revelations perfectly fine. It looks even worse than the PSP entry, which was on a system about 2-3 times less powerful.
Waaayy too early to start judging the game.
Zelda has never had great combat, especially the 2D games. Skyward Sword subverted this a bit by making combat more like puzzles via the motion controls. It's always been about puzzles, dungeons, traps, quests, exploration, ect.
You will still be slaughtering rooms of enemies ala classic 2D Zelda, there will be dungeons with varied puzzles, there will be lots of quests and NPCs to talk to. That hasn't change...
