As much as it pains me to say, if this is the case I may just skip next-gen consoles entirely. I'm not supporting this.
Clicked the wrong reply, sorry. Responding to the guy currently two comments down.

No, the Wii U isn't designed to put restrictions of used games, unlike XB1 and possibly PS4.
The success of the system has nothing to do with it. Nintendo never planned such a thing, period.
Good memories. Both were excellent titles, possibly my favorite 2D Zeldas.
It's a proven formula. All you have to do is take old yeller behind the shed.
I really wish they did more with him in Infinite and I believe that's the biggest missed opportunity of the game. He barely showed up at all and his character clearly deserved more spotlight.
Despite that, his devotion to Elizabeth was successfully conveyed and his death did still manage to resonate with me a bit. Still wish that it got more screen-time, though. Maybe he'll be more fleshed out in one of the DLC's.
I wouldn't be buying the XB1 even if it was the other way around. It's one thing to have an underwhelming reveal, but MS has pretty much spat in the face of consumers.
I pray Sony isn't going to adopt this. The last thing we want is them competing as con-artists.
We know very little about how this conference and E3 are going to pan out. Wait until all is said and done before casting judgement.
Hopefully this means the conference will be more to the punchline than the PS4 reveal, rather than there being significantly less material to show.
But even if it is, it's no big deal. E3 is just a few weeks away. We'll know what to expect then.
I've played the Wii version. DKCR is, in my opinion, one of the best platformers in years, 2D or otherwise. I can't fathom how anyone can think it's "easily outclassed".
It's actaully challenging, plays wonderfully, and the level design is masterful and consistently inventive. What more do you want from a platformer? Is this guy really faulting the game for expecting the player to have good reflexes and keep on their toes? For not being Super Meat Bo...
I kind of agree on the maturity part, even if the guy did have a point that the Wii U is showing to be an undesirable platform.
A third-party developer should never, never slam entire demographics or markets. No matter how poor they are performing at the time. You very well may be biting your own ass in the future and paining relations like this is never going to amount to anything good. This guy should know that whatever he says about these subjects is going to, fair or not,...
I honestly doubt Nintendo will make much money from this. LPers even together don't make nearly enough to help a massive company like Nintendo. Seriously, what do they think is in it for them? Companies don't wave these copyright issues until there's capital on the line.
Do they think that people who watch playthroughs won't bother to buy the game? That's generally not going to be the case, people who are legitimatley interested in a game will only watch a...
This isn't even a remote possbility. How these amateur blogs calling themselves news outlets even get on N4G in the first place is beyond me.
Nintendo designed their system and there's no turning back. What they need is quality software. They need developer support and people utilizing their unique features on the controller. A price drop would most certainly help, as well.
"Yeah, but no one said anything negative about Nintendo on this page."
Probably because there were only 3 comments on this page when you posted. Give it time.
If you're going to criticize Borderlands 2 for boring and unrewarding fetch quests, you're going to have a field day doing the same with the first one.
I think Borderlands 2 was a signficantly better game than the first, despite the loot rarity drop rates being out of whack.
That said, Gearbox has been dropping the ball with the DLC big time. They've outsourced all of them so far and none of them really live up to the main game. And on top of that...
Good. The Vita sorely needs new, quality games.
I guess we'll see. It's usually wise to just let the experience speak for itself than say stuff like this, though.
No... Pokemon W! No one would see it coming!
Chris looks like he's ready to join the Village People.
Well, physical buttons. Two screens. 3D. Quantity and quality software designed for actual gamers. A system well-known videogame developers actually make games for.
