I guess we'll see. Any provider that chooses to charge extra for apps and access that people have taken for granted for so long is going to lose a lot of business. Honestly, everything about that is complete nonsense.
If any of the likes Comcast, Verizon, Charter, ect. attempt such practices, they'll be ironed out quickly. Even the blind and stubborn consumer market won't stand for something this irredeemably inconvinient, but it's a shame it would need to hap...
... Maybe they disagree with your opinion? Or is there something wrong with that?
Disagreeing isn't the same as trying to discredit. Some people are satisfied with the premise of this DLC and want to see more of Ellie.
It puzzles me why people get so defensive over a number under their text.
Umm... whether they are or aren't art doesn't change much about what you have issue with. The only way for that to be accomplished would be to get rid of all narrative context, dialogue, characters, character designs, ect. Basically, reducing videogames to bland and generic pixels with no content that can be even remotely related to real-life sensibilities.
Do some people complaining on the internet bother you that much? I don't mean to sound disrespectful, but th...
It's entertainment. Enjoy it, or don't.
The Last of Us is my GOTY because I personally got the most enjoyment out of it than any other title this year. Apparently many others feel the same. If there's a problem with that, take it up with the Opinion Police or the Bureau of Pretentious Sensibilities. :/
China's laws and regulations are very inconsistent and wishy-washy. They often go back and forth on a whim, espcially where non-secular and foriegn-related matters are concerned. Just because the console ban is lifted right now, doesn't mean it can't easily change in a matter of weeks because that does happen.
It's kind of hard to call it "promising" considering that. It's uncertain, if anything. The economic class division is also massive, so it...
... OK? Care to back that up?
SMTIV was the first mainline SMT title in about a full decade, since Nocturne, and something fans have been waiting for all that time. Yet it stuck to jaggy sprites, static VN portraits, and small cutscene clips.
This is a spin-off fanservice title of a spin-off franchise with an inevitably inconsequential storyline. And it gets many more 3D models, full 3D animation and effects, and fully animated cutscenes.
Art...
It kind of puzzles me how all the attempts at properly adapting Aliens entirely misinterpreted what the movie was about.
Aliens was about desperation, survival, and escape just as much as the original film was. The only big difference being that there were more Xenomorphs and humans for them to kill. They were always in control until the characters decided to flip the "**** it" switch and blow the place up.
Heck, most everything since the main films...
I find it odd how this non-canon Persona spin-off gets substantially better production values than Shin Megami Tensei IV.
I imagine X and Monolith are in crunch time. It's not uncommon for studios to urgently hire near the end of projects for additional hands. It helps technical polish and makes for less stressed work environment.
Donkey Kong is only a month away and probably a matter days away from completion if it isn't already done. This must be for their next project.
Umm... Why is everyone thowing accusations around like this is something new? Localizations often meet censorship and they have for literally decades. The only group that you can pin this on are the companies involved in these decisions.
These kinds of changes are cultural and marketing considerations made by involved companies. Square Enix and Nintendo want to establish a T-rating to keep their sales demographics as wide as possible. They want to play it safe with their prod...
No, the space station is called the Sevastopol. It's based on the aesthetics of the Nostromo to stay true to the film's look, but is not the same ship.
"Even though this isn’t the Nostromo..."
The only way to really judge the quality of the service is going to be in the full-scale networking it's designed for, not convention demos.
Anyway, it's good to see that the picture quality is totally up to par. Hopefully they iron out the input lag, though, as that might make or break the service.
As skeptical as I am, I can't deny what's being shown so far looks quite good. Thankfully, Gearbox isn't involved with this.
I agree. Bioshock 2 has the best combat in the franchise to date as far as I'm concerned. It took what Bioshock 1 did and made some very nice and sensible advancements. There was just so much you could do with all the crazy powers and weapons you could dual-wield.
I felt that Infinite was a step backward in relevance to both, by comparison. Most of the potential for pre-planning and special tactics was removed due to the larger-scale and chaotic battles. Plus the AI and h...
I don't think a single line removes Bioshock 2 from canon, honestly.
Umm... Dragon Age has always had a female writer perspective. Half the writing team has been female from Day 1.
If this is about adjusting that one scene we'll never know about that was noted as distasteful (involving unintended rape implications between characters) by the female writers, who cares? That's their decision to make that change as a team. For all we know, such a scene would have flopped and really hurt the intentions behind the characters as it was.
So... did Valve just admit to being sellouts? Ugh, there goes some of the best designers gaming has ever known.
Is it too much to ask that they finish what they started? Anyone who has ever enjoyed the series would like to know how the Half-Life saga ends.
I'm pretty sure Frictional Games did not develop AMFP. They've been working on SOMA this whole time.
The US needs another influential political party. Or anything too get away from this simplistic dichotomy of interests, really.
This Red/Blue spectrum is just not working. Intellectual stagnation, directive and administrative inefficiency, strong susceptibility to propoganda and dogma, party- and special interest- owned leaders, ect.
The political scape needs to be objective and informative; not based on propoganda and appeals to dogma and adversity. We need ...
