Elder scrolls and Fallout games have a menu button. It lists you're quests and many times you can fast travel. It doesn't take more than 20 hours to finish most main story arcs if you use the menus to stay focused.
Hopefully it's the reveal of Microsofts/2ksports Joe Montana Football 16. Rumors are insane on Twitter that something will be announced at E3. And it will shake up the Football world if Microsoft was able to secure some type of licensing from the NFL. There's been a lot of heat surrounding Joe Montana Football 16. It's supposed to be Microsoft's main release that is cross play with Windows 10. I will actually buy an Xbox 1 if this is all true.

PS2 was nice but overrated. It had it's share of good games but most of the time if I could get the game for Gamecube, Xbox, and sometimes Dreamcast, I would. PS2 always had the crappie version of Splinter Cell, Man Hunt, Sonic Heroes, Red Faction 2, Vice City (once the exclusive timed out), Code Veronica, Crazy Taxi, Battlefront 2, Call of Duty, DOA2, Soul Calibur 2, Dynasty Warriors, etc... And the people that thought Madden 05 was better than NFL 2k5 were usually playing the PS2 vers...
Bloodborne is only selling now because there is absolutely nothing else out right now. Gamers who own Ps4/xb1 are so thirsty for a new game it could have been anything remotely decent. People burned through The Order so fast you don't see anything about it now. Bloodbourne will fizzle out the same way. Next is mortal Kombat. Pffft...wake me up when the real games start coming.

I have the money to get a new console I browse the games and really nothing excites me enough to plunk down the $300/$400. My back log from last Gen is still overwhelming and I have enough games to keep me busy for the next 4 years.

Valve is scared to tarnish it's reputation to crappy reviewers. When Half Life 2 came out the atmosphere of gaming was happier and more accepting of flaws. EA holds a license. The license is not exclusive anymore it's just that EA and MS seem to be the only companies willing to pay for it.

Review scores aren't going anywhere. Fanboys feed off them for bragging rights and flame wars. 80% of gamers on game sites are fanboys. Casual gamers that play madden and call of duty every year don't give a crap if it's on Sony or Xbox. It's like watching a DVD on a DVD player...no one really cares what brand of DVD player you're using. Unless some kids actually go there.

It's my renewal month and it was going to depend on what games were going to be free this month. I don't play enough online to pay. I'm done. Slowly I'm cutting ties from gaming.
