I have a hacked PC version running on my rgh 360. 720p and 30fps is the only setting that works for the emulation. No slow down with the minimal settings though...so far.
I like keeping it around especially when the games on new generation aren't mind blowing. It's going to take some work to get my attention on new generation hardware. It's not very exciting right now. Lots of Indies and remakes.

I backed up my xbla collection to my rgh 360. No DRM so I can use any gamertag. Just no online which is fine with me. They can also be copied to my external hdd incase my 360 hdd ever dies.
Companies aren't making enough money on consoles. Console gamers are stunting the industry by only buying annual releases like Fifa, Madden, COD, and now Assassins creed. Consoles do not have the game attach rate they did 10 years ago. Some gamers buy Call of Duty and it never leaves the disc tray until the new one comes out. Saturn was awesome for those willing to import games from Japan. Nights, Virtua Fighter 2, Fighting Vipers, Last Bronx, Sega Sports games, Guardian Heroes, and all those excellent capcom ports were great. Just too expensive and it just gave Sony an easy in. N64 came too late to the party to do much against Sony's low price.

I'm waiting to hear about Joe Montana football 16. Rumor is that it's x1 exclusive and has cross play features with windows 10. Also being published by Microsoft gives it a chance to have the NFL license. They have one now for "entertainment apps". Loophole if I ever seen one. Also Microsoft went to 2ksports to develop the game on unreal 4 engine. A lot of these rumors should be answered at E3. If it's true count me in as an Xbox one owner.

These could easily be from madden 08. Are people really thinking ea does anything to fix this broken engine? Hell no. They let the sheep buy it every year. Compare the features they're advertising to Madden 06..."throw the ball where only your receiver can get it". Dejavu anyone? Madden is the biggest joke in gaming.

Gears 3 is the best game I played last Gen and still play regularly. It's why x1 and ps4 can wait.
People don't want to be lied to. Simple as that. Devs make promises and usually don't follow through...call of duty, killzone 2, madden, wwe2k, NBA live, all underperforming and making gamers question their decision to get a new generation console when it's really not that different from last generation.

Drop yukes from developing it and I'd try it. Smack down has the same problem madden does...they're still basically ps2 games with graphics to cover up the ugly engine.

There's little use for discs now. What happens when you put the disc in? Downloads a patch to fix your broken code physical game. You might as well go digital because without the internet your disc is a drink coaster...an expensive one. Anyone who bought Skyrim last generation knows this all too well.
I just wanted a Contra HD collection...Contra 1, Super C, Contra 3, Hard Corps, and Shattered Soldier would have been great as XBLA downloads or a collection on a disc. Instead we got some ancient arcade ports and a nice Uprising game but the load times in that game made me not bother. It takes nearly a minute to load the first level!
Oh well, guess that's what emulators are for...but I would have paid good money for the original contra with some SNES/Genesis graphic up...
