I believe the Xbox One was always capable of BC. Microsoft just wanted to watch and see if people would actually keep buying the same games again (remakes). I believe Sony was watching as well. The games are Sega games in Shenmue. But they were also games from the man Yu Suzuki himself. Those arcade games are Hang On, After Burner, Space Harrier, and the posters in the house and found around town are Virtua Fighter. Yu Suzuki's legacy. I highly doubt you'll see Kratos in a Shenmue game even though many ignorant people think QTEs came from God of War when they predated that series with Sega CD games and the term was actually coined QTE in Shenmue in 2000.

360 and Xbox one controllers are the same size.
I have them both on my lap right now. Playing gears 3 while installing halo collection. That hdmi port was a good idea. I just click the home button to see how much longer to download. Click again and back to 360. Not that I can't just change inputs but this is nice feature.
If Microsoft manages to get the NFL with Joe Montana football 16 it will definitely turn the tide in the states. MS has the bigger names for exclusives. That's kind of Sony's fault in a way by having too many at a time and not giving each game their time to shine. I'd go back to the PS3 while gamers enjoyed having exclusive after exclusive get pumped out the casuals lost them in the mix. MS and Sony probably mad it looks just as good on 360 so they have to go ugly it up to keep it lesser than new generation versions
EA Sports just makes me gag seeing their name included in anything anymore. They just took the sports genre in general and flushed it down the toilet. I used to be die-hard for sports from 1992 till about 2008...there's just no excitement about EA anymore. Lack of competing games allows EA to crap out same recycled stuff.
Sega master system's Double Dragon. The music and presentation of it just grabbed me. Then Phantasy Star just threw another fireball down my throat. That's when I couldn't sleep without dreaming about new games and soon new 16 bit consoles.
I played video games since Odyssey2 and I was into KC munchkin and War of Nerves. A lot of weird interesting games were on there. But SEGA made me a gamer for life.

I loved the 360 but mostly because I'm primarily a sports gamer...but Nba2k6, Nhl 2k6, Fight Night 3, and Tiger woods 06 were actually great. I'm not sure when Oblivion came out but that was the game that made me buy 360 as soon as I could. There were stinkers too like Madden, Kameo, and Perfect Dark. Also Dead Rising was a big deal when it first hit. People were just starting to buy HDTVs too so games were a big step up for people used to PS2 games.
I think MS remasters are 10 year anniversary type deals.

Yeah, I kind of feel like it's an all time low point in gaming. Shenmue 3 and FFVII are fantastic things happening right now but they probably won't be seen for another year or two.
