Kinda weak so far...still waiting for the real nextgen games. It might be a long wait if they keep remastering last generation games.
Both new consoles are a huge let down.
They have tricked you into next generation e-machines. Not me. I'm skipping this generation simply because of the reliance on the internet. Physical games are useless because of day one patches. Skyrim on PS3 and 360 was a hint to the future of gaming. 15 years down the road you want to play through Skyrim. If Sony would fix their lousy controllers I'd pay more attention. The 32bit era sucked imo. Games were ugly. Moved slow. Long load times. It was just too early. Saturn and PS1 are poop stains in gaming history. Saturn had Virtua Fighter 2 which was one of the few games from that era that actually looked clean. PS1 games were jaggy and pixelated. Tekken, Battle Arena, Doa, all just ugly. Namco basically saved PS1 with their arcade games that went head to head with Sega's. And...
Gears 3 is the best game I've played last Gen. Still play it regularly. There's nothing like it on any other console. Online game play is fun, addictive, and visceral. If you're not playing multi player then yeah, you'll get bored easily. But that's with all shooters including halo. Horde, beast, and forces of nature...it's going to be a long time for anything to beat it. Judgment sucked. If Gears 4 is like judgment you can count me out.

Sega Master, NES, Genesis, N64, SNES, Xbox '01, Dreamcast, Xbox 360. I play a lot of sports games so that's why Sega Genesis owned my world in the 90s. N64 still has the best wrestling games ever. Wwf no mercy and wcw revenge kill everything.

Indies are 90% crapola. Usually college kid projects with playability. Many are trash. Just sift through the 2000 Indies available now on PS3 and 360. Trash. Either it's trash or stuff that could barely get accepted as a Sega Genesis game. There are a few good ones but Indies are the equivalent to the Atari 2600. I bunch of mediocre software that will need destroyed before another crash. 1983 all over again. People will eventually get tired of all the fluff and stop buying.
PS3 games and 360 games still hold up to the new generation of games. It's really sad to me. I was expecting a much bigger leap in graphics. It just shows how good last Gen really was.
Sega ended the Streets of rage remake a few years ago even though it was free. Once the lawyers get involved Nintendo will probably have to end it to avoid the headache.

My 360 backlog is too full. Eventually the Wii U might be the way to go because it seems like the ps4 and x1 barely function without internet updates, patches, or whatever else they try to make you do before you can just PLAY THE GAME. Super annoying.

Those are my favorites but I could easily smash 10-20 more great ones.
I don't know, they should give a code for a free game or something like that. 10% off and 5 days of psplus is kinda a slap in the face. But it looks like the posters above are happy with it.

Yakuza 5 was recently announced to be released in the West. Hopefully this could lead to other things like Shenmue HD or part 3.
I took the ps4 back. Played destiny since thanksgiving...or tried to play anyway. Psn is down way too much. I'm now playing Destiny on 360 and honestly the graphics aren't much different and I'm actually online.
Sega has no desire to make games for their fans. Sonic 4 was a step in the right direction along with awesome updates of Afterburner climax , Binary Domain, Vanquish, and Sonic Racing were good. But then there were those licensed marvel games, and a bunch of dud Sonic games.
