VR is trash so far. MS learned from Kinect that that stuff is gimmicky fad junk. Does anyone even bother with Wiimotes, Move, Kinect, or even the reintroduction of Rock band/ guitar hero? MS is having a hard enough time getting games out for core controller toting gamers. Why waste resources on something people are already bored with.
The quality Indies are few and far between. Maybe 3 out of 500 worth looking at. Similar to the convoluted mobile game market. You have to really dig to find something decent. Most people with jobs or school don't have the time to sift through shovel ware.
I don't think the Sega is a Micro. I think it's normal size.
If they somehow manage to get NFL 2k5 playable on the Xbox One, I'll be in heaven. It works on 360 but some small things get messed up through the emulation.
I'm an Xbox fan but I know there hasn't been anything exciting for me since 2011 and that was Gears 3. Since then I really haven't cared. Judgement was a letdown, Halo 4 was just weird, Gears 4 is a very different feeling game compared to Gears 3. I feel like MS just hopes 3rd party games are enough to keep fans playing but it's hard to be excited with delays and cancelled games.
I play OG Xbox regularly still because of Shenmue 2, KOTOR, KOTOR2, NFL 2k5, World Series Baseball 2k5, and Manhunt. Some of these games didn't quite perform well on the 360.
Hahaha n4g would have this approved
I'd love to play NFL 2k5 on Xbox one. Manhunt, Splinter cell: ct, Kotor, and Shenmue 2!
I have over 200 digital including arcade releases and the bulk of them are available on Xbox one. It's great to have access to Streets of Rage 2, Shadow Complex, and Gears 3 when taking a break from Nba 2k17. To carry your library tied to your gamertag should be standard. I'm not going to upgrade the ps3 until Sony does something to keep my old digital purchases with my account. For now Ps3 is fine, I can wait and see if Sony steps up.
Backwards compatibility please!
Also Gamestop price gouges old games that are now playable on the Xone. I couldn't believe Call of Duty 2 was $20! The game is from 2005 and now because it works on Xone it's jacked up? That game was $3 before that.
I doubt this is accurate. Many of my friends are on Gears of War 3 and Red Dead Redemption on a regular basis.
I have the NES and Master System one. I prefer the Sega version.
Sony allows too much shovelware just to keep their numbers up. Been that way since 1996. Xbox just doesn't care enough to push games through or cancels them because it's "business". I miss Sega vs Nintendo. There was much better quality control back in the early 90s.
Mgs2 was the end of crappy fixed camera controls. Splinter cell smashed it. As for game changer I'd say GTA3 was what cemented the Ps2.
Seems like Sleeping dogs is always on sale or free. I have both 360 and x1 versions and I didn't pay for them.
I think they stopped demos on Xbox when people found out it was the entire game and all you had to do was unlock them with modding apps. I have not seen a new game for 360 with a demo for about a year.
I want an Xbox 360 with Scorpio Graphics and USB controller ports that support all USB controllers. And I want my entire library accessible from OG Xbox, 360, and One.
Simple.
I'm still happy playing Gears 3 on 360. I don't care. It's just plain fun.
Loved the OG Xbox for NFL 2k5, KOTOR, and Morrowind. Loved the 360 for Gears series, Oblivion, Skyrim, Mass Effect Trilogy, and all those Sega arcade releases. I'm still waiting for Xbox one to get it together. I'm not sure what kind of game will get my attention but other than the yearly sports releases I really haven't bought many games for the Xbox One. I may be just losing interest altogether. This is the first generation I haven't bought all the consoles since Ninten...
