I'm just pleased we are not subjected to every single comings and goings of staff from one organisation to another. Good luck to her, I mean that. But exactly why did we need to know this again?
@ABizzel1
Sometimes, companies like to keep the best people doing exactly what they are best at. From what you are saying you did a really good job. I was in a similar position at one point until I offered my company an ultimatum. Move me up or I ship out...I got a much...
And now?
I can't imagine a time when MS will outsell Sony in Japan,at least not in single box console sales. Then again, Sony doesn't compete with Nintendo in Japan, so there you have it. Japan. It is what it is.
The following comments are my opinion, nothing more.
On the one hand game development has become much more efficient than ever. The tools and technology used today surpass anything previously available. The counter balance to that is games are much larger in scale and ambition than ever before. Overall, probably one should offset the other.
Also consider, that just because first party titles are developed 'from the ground up' as we say, does not mean each...
Nihon Jin, would be more appropriate
Series X and S are a bargain, but the SSD is silly money, no doubt. Wait for for more competition is my advice. At least with Series H/W you can play/store games on ext USB so there is that option.
Wow! So many Sony fanboys hating. Why? What does it matter to you guys, unless of course you really do see what's coming and it's scarey as hell for you. As for me, I'm not defending Phil, but I recognise good business options. Lets discuss this again at the end of the generation. I'll be waiting.
Don't like the smell of this one MS. A possible sneaky tactic disguised using a legitimate sounding reason. I naturally take umbrage at this kind of thing. If I don't want to connect, then I shouldn't be forced to. Whether that be once or a hundred times.
If this continues across the board the result will be less game sales overall. People will either wait for prices to fall, and/or only buy absolutely must have games. In turn this may lead to even more bad behaviour from publishers as they try to compensate further.
This kind of stuff is really pathetic. Buy the console you prefer and enjoy it. Sure have a bit of banter on sites like N4G, it's fun, but immature behaviour at this level does a diservice to all gamers.
I love this! Quite often I have quit a game because I have gotten so frustrated with such unskippable nonsense. Still, I'm not sure how publishers are going to see it.
I agree with your comment, but you would have made a more objective point if you hadn't stressed the 'Best' everything. It makes it sound like a fanboy post. Not trying to be offensive or anything.
“In the last year we’ve had Google and Amazon and now Facebook announcing they’re coming into our gaming space. I’m not gonna go compete with their numbers based on how many Xbox Series X I’ve sold. [Google] is never gonna talk about how many Chromecast Pros they sold."
The above comment from Phil sums it up perfectly I think. The giant tech companies are moving into the gaming space, and selling lots of consoles is not going to be enough on it's own, moving forwar...
Which in the case of XsX is literally hundreds.
I can understand you being concerned if he really is your uncle and you Don't believe him, other than that I suggest your'e talking as much B.S as you claim your uncle is. Give it a rest, please.
Had my XsX Delivered yesterday. If it wasn't for the 'X' Power light I wouldn't have known it was on. Really, that's true. I have a 5TB USB ext drive with all my games on, and it was this I could hear when I plugged it in, and that's when it was just sitting there, doing nothing. There is always going to be a few faulty units at the launch of any electronics, but some of these stories do seem fake.
I wish you all happy gaming with whatever console or...
Here's my take, for what it's worth. I have commented on this before, and do have some knowledge in this area, but feel free to correct me as I'm no expert. I'm not going to explain the speeds and bus operation - you can research that yourself if you really want to know that level of detail.
Firstly, each generation of PCIe(lower case 'e' is correct btw. Just as NVMe -lower case e) roughly doubles the bandwidth of the preceeding generation, for each ...
I have spent many, many, hours playing this game and can agree that at launch it was a complete mess. Today however, it's an above average game, especially if you like Zombie/Apocalyptic/Builder type survival horror games. Ironically though, some of the earliest and most frustrating bugs still remain unpatched several years after launch.
And yes, It's a game that has always played a little on the 'janky' side, but believe me it is 100% than better than at release. It&...
This imo, is a great quality of life feature on SX, but it's not essential. It won't give more stable framerates, won't improve the graphics or the narrative of games, albeit a very nice feature to have. Further, there's absolutely no reason why Sony can't integrate this option at some point. After all, the service is just dumping the game content to NVMe storage, a form of hibernation, if you like.
The only reason I don't see Sony introducing this f...
How many new games have Capcom actually made? They seem to just keep rehashing the same titles, endlessly. I mean I loved SF in the day, but really, another one.
