I have my concerns with the creation engine, even after an overall. MS now owns ID-tech one of the best engines ever created. All they need to do is develop it further. Though I'll judge Starfield game when I actually see it.
Actually, two Teraflops is a big difference. Not in isolation of course, but in addition to. More importantly, if you think that Teraflops is the only difference between the consoles then, well... oh whatever.
Not a game genre I will ever play so won't bitch too much, but really, 4K@30. Not impressed.
Yeah, I was just expressing a wish that everybody can get to play this. One gamer to another. Objectively, there's no chance it will come to PS5. But anyway, Minecraft?
The game looks great, but timed exclusivity? C'mon MS you've been do so well recently, but these tactics go against everything MS is supposedly striving for. Anyone, anywhere, anytime. Don't be petty. Exclusive first party okay, if you must, but meaningless timed exclusives? Me not like
I'm just getting my new man cave set up, and I have the perfect corner for this. I thought this was a joke initially.
oh, please. Is it really worth slamming great games for a worthless allegiance? Though it's your choice of course. Personally, I'll choose from Xbox or PS, because I like games, and I'm too old for tribal nonsense.
Don't we all.
Is that game not sublimely beautiful.
Yeah! Look, the MS/Bethesda showcase was, in my opinion, really fantastic, but some of the biggest stuff was left out. I guess that was to curb expectations a little. But more info on some of the other blockbusters coming down the line would really be the icing on an already tasty cake.
I'm pretty confident the game play will be great, but I still have some concerns over graphics. I not sure that, even with the touted overall, the Creation eng is gonna produce the quality of visuals required for such an expansive next gen game. Hopefully, I'm mistaken, because this game could be huge.
Play station version down the line? I really hope so, but you know what. Sometimes there are valid reasons to have multiple consoles and this may be one of them. Don't let ...
After 'Prey' I'm very interested in anything Arkane produces. Yes, you can say it'll be 'like' left4dead, but this is with Vampires. This opens up many new possibilities beyond the now stale Zombie games. One of my must have's of the show, although it's a little way out. And yes, CGI, but the game info was there. My only regret is this means no Prey 2 for the foreseeable.
Solasta is a great game, but stating animation and graphics aren't that important because it's a 'tactical' game, is a little short sighted, imho. I'm sure there are great things to come. One for MS to watch?
Game play is already excellent. IMHO, of course.
Co-op, where all players belong to a base so they grow it together. In other words actual co-op. Other than that, maybe upgraded graphics for X/S, not just 60fps or higher res, but improved textures etc. Looking forward to SOD3
I'm not going to argue the figures, because I don't know. And I'm not sure how anyone does at this stage. However, what's being suggested is that Sony have managed to produce many more consoles than MS in the same time frame. Since both Series X and PS5 are always sold out, because neither company can produce enough, I'm not entirely sure those figures can be considered reliable, based simply on the practicalities of producing that many consoles more. Unless of course ther...
May I suggest Phil Spencer is neither saint or sinner. He's just good at his job and I believe he is expressing genuine support, as most of us do. Maybe we should be rooting out the idiots who make such comments, and offering them help, because they sure as hell need it.
As a gamer, should I really care why companies decide to go cross gen or should I be more concerned why I was sold one thing and delivered another? If you buy a next gen console you should expect next gen games otherwise what's the point. Yes, exclusive games will come, eventually, but supporting old gen absolutely means extending last gen across new gen consoles.
All that time MS was touting it won't hold us back, look how it works on PC! And I'm thinking grap...
Okay, maybe it's illegitimate of me to comment on racing games since I'm not a fan. However, it's not because I inherently don't like racing games, no. It's because for all the talk of amazing physics, fantastic graphics etc. ALL racing games to date have one undeniable flaw which makes them nothing more than arcade bumpers cars. Do I need to say more? Okay I will then. When racing around a track with such breathtaking visuals and immersion, and spot on physics, why is it ...
If you do, make sure to hack those turrets :)
I consider myself quite hardcore and this is my genre, but I agree that constantly having to manage the minutia of survival like oxygen can become a bit of a chore. Not that breathing is a minor detail, but you know what I mean. However, if there are ways of mitigating that sort of thing as your character develops. Well, that would be okay.
