That's the nature of the service is it not? New games in old games out. However, the most important games of all - MS first party AAA games will remain, and that's where the real value of Gamepass separates itself from the competition, currently.
Now here's a studio MS should buy! If MS really wants to dominate the RPG space, then CRPG's and D&D are an important part of the RPG genre imho. There's also the studio 'Tactical adventures', who have recently released the excellent 'Solasta..' title. TBH I'm enjoying Solasta even more than BG3 at the moment. But yeah, either would be a great addition to the MS portfolio.
It's a shame consoles don't currently have a DLSS equivalent, that would bring them much closer to general levels of PC gaming.
The difference is partly due to the idTech eng, so much better than unreal eng, has been for decades. MS now owns this tech, so use it MS. As far as PC master race goes, I once was like you, but then I got a life and relegated gaming to it's rightful position -hobby. :)
Yeah, I know it's been out on PC awhile, I tried it on Game pass, a service that came from consoles to PC I believe :) Anyway, your'e fine, PC will have better version by virtue of PC's power of diminishing returns and brute force . For me, this is one of the very few titles where 30fps is almost acceptable on console, mainly due to the games complexity. One thing I'm not sure about though is how the PC will fair when loading all that global data. I mean, all X|S have NVMe SSD, right. But a lot of PC's still don't, how will that pan out I wonder.
Isn't this game cross gen? What do you think will be achieved? The only difference between the legacy xbox and this gen S|X will be graphics quality,resolution and possibly frame rate, but not game play. Game play, by necessity will be the same. And that applies to nearly all cross gen titles, regardless of platform. Personally, and I mean this, the original demo was fine with me.

It's a great game for sure, but in my opinion it's still being played because there little to replace it.

As a general trend I think £70.00 is too much for a video game. But how much are people prepared to pay for Apple products when the technology used isn't inherently superior to standard PC parts? So objectively, it's whatever the market will withstand for whatever reason. Subjectively though, I have seen very few games I would consider 'worth it'. I would go further. Why do we keep getting endless sequels that add nothing to the originals -other than maybe better graphics. Where has all the inspiration gone to. NEW,inventive, IP is what I need. Otherwise we'll just keep getting more Gears, more TLOU, when in reality the original took them as far as they needed to go.

Personally, I didn't find anything wrong with the original demo, considering it was supposed to be a cross-gen title. I'm a campaign player only, no MP for me, and we haven't really seen what the campaign is like yet so here's hoping.
I believe FSR will be showing up on practically every device that's AMD based going back sometime. So of course PS5 and series X|S.

Since Sony IP's new or otherwise never see the light of day on other platforms(Very recent exceptions noted), I fail to see the difference from a gamer's perspective. I would prefer all games on all platforms, but since that's not going to happen I say -get both consoles or even all three
Exactly. And that's why devs like the service. The idea that you have to play all games to completion before they leave the service isn't necessarily true. And, as you point out, you can buy at a discount.
