That's a nice idea, but you do know that won't happen, right?
Whether they can or can't afford it aside, I would say, Don't!
I agree. Fact is, Sony spent money on R&D-ing this stuff. And while initially it may seem money ill spent for current gaming, when VR hits big the benefits will become obvious.
If your'e playing this on your phone, I would suggest the load times are the least of your worries. :)
Thanks, for providing details,Krussidull. I'm not able to read every article due to pretty intense anti tracking and datamining protections, sometimes these breaks sites. Normally, I wouldn't comment on articles I can't read, but the upshot of this one seemed pretty clear. Appreciate the deatils though.
That's fast(Talk about stating the obvious). Has this game been customised for the velocity architecture of the SeriesX or is this just the native SSD speed we are seeing?
I think the author is being a little unfair. Sony has invested heavily in VR - a very future technology, and one which I have no doubt will become the defacto way to play games in the mid term. In this regard Sony's machine has been designed from the ground up (Tempest audio, super fast SSD) to be ready for such cutting edge technology as it emerges later in the generation.
'And Xbox has traditionally used a significantly heavier OS architecture' You mean bloated OS?
Not ridiculing or anything, but would Nintendo gamers even know who master chief is? Can't imagine he would make a popular choice even if he did get an invite.
I'm not providing links, because I think you guys are smart enough to do your own research, but mainly because I'm lazy and don't attach a great deal of importance to this stuff. So, in IGN's latest poll, I believe there has been quite a significant shift in percentage terms, of those who now intend to purchase an Xbox console. Either as a primary console, or as a sencondary console. This poll is based off of the news that MS purchased Zenimax and if that has made a difference...
It is a smart feature, and will help reduce use of precious storage space. Though I would be happier with more cost effective storage solutions in the first place.
I love a dreamer! Dream on.
Agreed. Can't wait for the full game, but what is the price of early access? That put me right off.
Early access is at full retail price is it not? I've wished-listed this game, but will wait for final product release, also.
I suspect if what you say is true, then GP will untimately fail.At least I hope so, because MTX aren't popular and I don't see them being any more popular on GP than any other service.
Strart by understanding his comment isn't an objective statement of fact, it's a subjective assessment, so it's not 'blantant nonsense' for him! My favorite game of the generation by far was Arkane studio's PREY. Again, subjective.
Probably because nobody is interested in cracking this game.
I have a feeling this will turn out to be one of those complete non issues when it comes down to it. Any problems there may be will soon be sorted by Sony, pretty sure of that.
Or just maybe, employee's are reluctant to speak out for fear of reprisals . Either way, some level of crunch seems almost inevitable in the video game industry. My concern is not limited amounts of crunch, but whether it's mandatory or optional. This can be the difference between, whey hey, more money or, conversley, mental breakdowns.
For what it's worth, here's my response to the, oh so many comments, that MS is trying to sell a box with only old games. Firstly, I would suggest PS5 doesn't have that many 'next gen games' out of the gate either. And TBH that's to be expected at the start of a new gen. However, a year or two into the generation and I expect to see more, yes, more AAA on series X than PS5. Not only that, but even when both consoles are treating us to some astonishing next gen titles, t...
