Yes, I remember demos also. And I, remember when physical purchases of games came with manuals that often contained beautiful artwork. I could spent the first hours just reading the storyline and looking at the art, even before inserting the game disc.
Might I point out one major difference between PSnow and GP however, apart from the obvious. It's that all MS first party titles are available day one on GP. Now, if Forbidden west, Ratchet and clank etc appeared on Psnow day one,...
Please don't remind me. I still have nightmares where a kinect comes into my bedroom and
watches me sleep. Lets never mention it again.
You know, I thought that. Not the fungus bit, but the Destiny bit.
It may be worth noting that if you are in the market for a HDMI 2.1 TV, take care. The 2.1 ver. of itself means relatively little, I believe. I'm told that the consortium responsible for HDMI standards does not mandate the number or specific features a TV must include to call it 2.1 compliant.
A whole 'two' people. You're kidding me, right?
Yeah, stop poking the hornets nest will ya.
Personally, I think the PS5 will be a great machine.
One x is pretty quiet. Except when it's trying to run demanding games, then not so much.
I'm thinking quiter than a whisper.
Agreed. Cool is nice, quiet is essential.
I didn't know that.
If only it was just 2TF of GPU power we are talking about. But okay, I accept your point, though it should be noted that the level of ray tracing performance in Spiderman has been scrutinised by DF already - with less than a glowing report. The limited number of games running on actual series X is a valid point, but that's likely to change this month. Doesn't 'look' as good as comments, are are always subjective. Yes, your opinions are as important as anyone else's, but th...
With respect, another subjective response. Are you denying MS now has more first party studios? Are you perhaps dismissing the fact that Xcloud allows you to play games on more platforms than Sony's current offerings. Possibly you are disputing the current value of GP? Or maybe you are objecting to the Series X being generally accepted as the more powerful?
What I didn't say in my post, because I/we don't know yet, is series X games will be better or Sony are rubbish, be...
I didn't and still don't like any of the games you mentioned. That's not to say they are not enjoyed by some. And I agree, the series X launch look meagre at best. That's not to say PS5 looks that great. However, my orignal points still stand. Which of my comments above are incorrect, factually? The only responses I have received are subjective ones.
Okay, I retract the 'more games' option since we don't yet know, but it's still possible based on the fact MS now has more first party studios. Anything else I've posted above incorrect? Again, lets keep to the games and stop the nonsense.
I would hazzard a guess you buy games because you are a gamer. Great games get purchased regardless, but GP is useful for at least evaluating a game first. Least, that's what I think.
You know, I wonder that too. Generally in life, if something sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
And GP, does seem too good to be true. However, while I'm looking for catch I'll be enjoying the cheap games and incredible value it currently offers. Though I suspect a price hike may make it less attractive. Then again, First party titles day one.. we'll see.
And that's why this gen MS will have more power And more games, plus more BC, plus more flexibility where you play, plus more overall value... Need I go on? PS5 and SX are both super next gen consoles, but if you really want to play the features game, MS is gonna win. So please, lets keep to games and stop the nonsense.
All devices 'run hot', to some degree, that's normal. Ps5 may well run 'cooler' as it was designed with power profiles in mind. And Kudos to Sony for their design, But remember, efficiency is one thing, power is another. One doesn't necessarily equate with the other. We have yet to see first hand how effciently these machines run, but we do have a pretty good which is the most powerful
I think you are almost correct. Except it's likely that all NEW Zenimax titles will be timed exclusive to GP and Xbox eco, including PC GP. That way they still encourage new inductees to the xbox eco with exclusives, but as you point out, they would also get revenue from the PS fanbase, only at a later date.
