I have to agree with tonsoffun here. Having a thinkpad, a samsung netbook, a dell xps, and a unibody macbook pro, I find myself using the mbp for MacOSX more often than Windows XP/Vista. It has features that Windows 7 is just now trying to implement, and the os itself just makes for a far more productive environment. There are no senseless popups or notifcations, I don't have to look through many options just to disable said-notifications, and spotlight works just so much better and faste...
Kinda curious how many of you are PS3 and 360 owners, but were also PS2 and PS1 owners. I'm also curious how old you were when you adopted a PS1. If there's a "huge" PS2 userbase out there waiting to upgrade to a next-gen console, I'm just curious what the age-range of this huge userbase is.
I speculate it's possible that we may never see the entire PS2 generation of consumers walk out and purchase a next-gen console. When I was in highschool, a lot of teenager...
I thought so too. I was even surprised the local blockbuster was hiring, considering a bunch of them went out of business (or closed down company restructuring?) over the past year.
Contributors shouldn't be linking articles from sites that contain hentai/porn especially when the site has hentai that's considered underage/loli and other hentai articles regarding raep, etc. Either put the NSFW tag at the title or you can call us all sex offenders for accidentally getting those images in our cache.
You're probably getting disagrees because you're suggesting that Sony is doing this to ensure making a profit with built-in batteries by forcing consumers to pay a fee (like Apple does) to replace it. Sure, that can be the case, but they would've made even more profit if the batteries were user-replaceable - consumers would buy extra batteries for on-the-go purposes. If you're aware of the PSP custom firmware community, you would know of why the battery is a problem. Only first step someo...
@IdleLeeSiuLung
I'm not going to go into details or be accurate about this, but if you get an external battery from someone with a homebrew-enabled PSP, you could use that battery + memstick-loaded custom firmware to 'lupdate' it into a newer model PSP (not sure about PSP-3000).
In other words, the battery was the key to unlocking the door.
edit: i see others have mentioned it. You can google the pandora battery.
someone else that loves the musical score. it truly gives the game this eerie sci-fi ambience to it. you gotta love bioware and their games. Put so much detail and work into their games. Truly one of the greatest western rpg developers out there.
This game is my 360 GOTY
edit: just checked open zone... it's like comedy central there.
edit #2: man the way shepard mows thru the demo, is he on god mode? He can give thane a good butt kickin! Sure gonna feel good playing as spectre shepard again when this releases. Man i'm hyped.
MS never really had any experience in hardware though. The first sidewinder products were really great but afterwards the newer ones were kinda shoddy. Their mice are excellent however. I would say they have more experience designing user interfaces than actual hardware engineering.
And T10 was the one that said they got passed the baton to lead the generation of racers. They're the same ones that said PD is the old geezer that's still following on its origins.
Sony dev says "hey it can't be done because well we have blu-ray" and we know it's bs. However, when Sony dev says it can't be done because of blu-ray unless they use it on DVD and split the game onto multi discs, then well that's a different matter.
What do the Sony boys h...
Didn't the 360 get Magna Carta 2 just recently? Could explain the increase in sales. I believe they're also going to get that "eroge" Dream Club game with those huge anime bewbiez. Going to expect increase in sales for that one too.
back in 03 and got issued in 07.

Don't expect to see x-game chat on the PS3 anytime soon unless they figure how to run around the system by implementing 3rd party app (i.e. Skype) onto the XMB.
Hey MLG, way to spin words there. The looks of decals & paintjobs in one game does not equate to how another game is aiming to make their cars look realistic.

EDIT:
On a side note, having played Forza 1, 2, and having preordered Forza 3... at the way things are going and the videos/screenies I've seen, I almost feel embarrassed knowing that I am playing a Forza game. It's aiming to be a simulation, and it's great to know I can customize the ca...
For some reason, when it comes to driving games, we get videos of poor drivers. Maybe these magazine/gaming sites should invite hardcore racing game players to these conventions and make recordings of their gameplay instead. We'll be happy with good videos and we'll love them more, give them more hits. Almost a win-win situation there. lol
La Diabla. hahahaha. Como estas La Senora Diabla?
oh man... and all the lil kiddies new to Diablo will fap to those nasty bewbz. Or maybe Kerrigan's
I think people need to start talking about damage in two different terms - driving damage and damage modeling. It's possible to just incorporate driving damage to the system and have damage modeling available only to several select cars. Unfortunately, the media and everyone gossiping about GT5's damage never really differentiated between the two. For all I know, it doesn't really make much sense to incorporate driving damage only to the cars that also have model damage deformation. It'd...
Man I remember seeing a video about how this game was gonna be on the PS3. Where is it now? I can hop on and play on the PC but still, where's the PS3 version?
heh I'm just recalling my experience from playing those PC nascar / indycar games from back in the 90s. Forza 2 does have pitstop if I remember... pops on new tires but the car still runs like crap though if there's an engine or axle problem.
Chubear you forget the typical Killzone 2 tagline : "It haz noe colourz! ROFL LOL!"
But then it's perfectly fine for Lost Planet 2's dark gray/black *tentacle* boss level to remain that way.
And remember the talk about GT's trees???????? X-shaped trees! Forza 3 has them too kiddies.
I think now the complaint is that the shadows are "flickering" too much in those gamescom GT c0ckpit videos. I wonder if these people have ...
It's quite amazing how this game is turning out, as Cmrbe has posted with those links of the pictures. A few months ago, the Santa Monica studio posted several job openings on Craig's List for work on the GOW3 project. Whoever got those jobs must be very happy and excited getting to work on this masterpiece.
