Another month, another round of "Product X sold only Y amount, is Product X doomed?" articles. Maybe we'll get some of those "Would product x have sold much more of it were on product z's system instead?" or the infamous HHG "Game Y is also going to Console Z ! Console X slim upcoming announcement to kill Console Z?"

Papa John's is great. I miss when they had complimentary garlic and marinara dip. It was classic. It's pretty neat he got his car back too. Their new commercial features him in his car delivering pizza. Very cool guy. Very cool company. Very yummy pizza.

Keep the same width so the harddrive can be where it is, shrink down the length since who really uses those memory slots? Put the power button & usb next to the IR window. Shrink the depth just a little. Give us a smaller external power brick. Call it the 360 Natal. Sit back and relax.

his question was

"how many xbox nutjobs said wirelles wasnt good for a console? "

He didn't mention anything about g or n.

If you read my post above, again... in order for anyone with a device (computer, handheld, usb n wifi) to take advantage of the "claimed" N wifi speed of 300mbps (or 450 according to Intel), you need a true-n wifi router, and not those routers out there that claim to be 802.11n draft. The router needs to be simultaneous dual channel mimo enabled, otherwise g devices will drag the bandwidth to g speeds. If it's not a true finalized 802.11n router, then the draft N router you bou...

I'd be careful how you tout the "n" bandwidth anyways. Not until recently was it finalized, and people were using "true-N" routers and so-called "N" routers that were just pumping out a little more than 802.11g's bandwidth. Even so, to get the true benefit of true-N requires a compatible wifi card or one that supports true-N speeds - something like Intel Ultimate Wifi-link 5300. It's advertised to go up to 450mbps but I've only managed to get around 300. T...

The PS3 does have gigabit ethernet if that's noteworthy at all. I have my 360, ps3, and nas connected via ethernet to my 802.11 n router anyways.

why the heck i can't edit my post I can't figure out. But hey lookie, a phantom disagreer. What? Does it not make sense that companies don't advertise for competitors? You ever see a Ford Focus hybrid commercial ever advertise the miles per gallon a Prius gets?

^ Apparently their "control" over the console war doesn't do very much if it isn't pro-Sony. I say that's PR BS. Swimming in $$$ cheque books more like it.

I agree, all this "x" they're throwing could've been for some new 1st party developers and new interesting IPs. Throwing it around only for timed exclusives [to try to increase market share in Japan] is only hurting them. In the end, they're just going to run out of funds in Japan and those timed exclusives will just release on the PS3, and many new xbox owners in Japan this generation will feel/be shafted.

... so I think for me I already expected SO 4 to be coming to the PS3. Afterall, why would Sony advertise the SO4 trailer on the PSP SO game if the game was strictly 360 exclusive? It makes no sense to advertise for the competition. Just as how you won't see the RE5 360 tv advertisement saying it's for PS3 as well.

Maybe they felt that the game deserved a 21/20 because there are some known games this generation that got a 10/10 (perfect score) for which they didn't deserve.

It's like $42 a year now w/ the price cut on the 12 month + 1 card.

This game's gonna suck anyways because sales = quality. Pachter predicts this game will sell 200k in the software NPDs for the month. ODST on the other hand will crush that # on first day sales.

@ Lil T

Yea the gullwing is back! Well at least from the vids i've seen. I really like the red SLS but the silver just screams retro. Truly awesome car and it'd be a very special treat if it comes to GT5.

@ Cmrbe

Yea very true. Console racers aren't designed to be "true" racing sims - at least in the sense of incorporating actual damage. Try those Indycar racing games developed by Papyrus back in the early 90s. Now i'm not saying their dam...

Re: #2, those variations of cars are different, and their put into the game because they have some history to them and most likely because they handle differently. KY drives cars as a passion so it's obvious he'll put cars he thinks should be in the game, especially cars he had probably driven before. In fact, he seems to be invited or attends many car events including test driving the new Benz SLS. Anyway, bubbles+ for your truly sensible post.

Don't know about you guys, but that rope demo around 1 minute reminded me of noby noby boy haha. =)

But Sox you can't spin rewinding the same way as restarting. When you restart, you have to deal with every possibility that there'll be an accident at every corner or straightaway of a track on every single lap. With rewind, you just have to deal with the accident that happened, rewind it a couple seconds, and proceed.

I hope the rewind, autobrake, and assists will have a penalty using them just like how there were penalties in Forza 2.

Any of you guys gon...

Man that's the kinda video i've been waiting for. The game is looking sweeeeeeeeeeet.

It could be people that recently got the model only to want to exchange it for the Slim. Remember there was a Bestbuy article about this, and to avoid having to take in a return, they instead offered a free game deal.

So that number, 30-40%. How do we know it applies to the previous total of PS3 userbase, or if it applies to recent owners within the past few weeks?
