The jump from Forza 1 -> 2, then Forza 2 to 3. Obviously with big improvements between each game the reviews would be better. Anyway, perhaps it's a good business decision to release GT in March. GoW doesn't have that big of a fanbase compared to GT.... and besides, Sony has the holidays locked down with FF 13 anyways. GT & FF13 all in Xmas 2009 would be overkill. It would be bad for them if sales dwindled down after the holidays going into 2010. They're thinking of the lon...
Maybe because it's like the American and Jpn PSN stores. They have different content.
What GG needs for their next game in the KZ universe is a new name. Do you really think Killzone is a name that sells itself? It's not imaginative and doesn't seem to make me want to look into it when seeing the word in a marketing ad. Killzone Killswitch.... I suppose it's the word "kill" doesn't ring a fine tune in your average daily consumer that's out looking for a game to get for their kids i.e. moms and dads.
Edit: On a side note, seems that Matt Furtado ...
Bungie doesn't actually. I don't recall Bungie making anything other than Halo since its inception. Before Halo, Bungie was responsible for Myth [ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myth_(co mputer_game_series) ] , which is a pretty kickash game. I loved it alot, but other than that game, I don't think they're known for anything else. Marathon maybe, but that's old school too.
^ I think the reason why people say MS is milking Halo, is because Halo 3 was supposed to be the last Halo. Bungie said they wanted it to be the last. And commercials told us to buy Halo 3 because it'd allow us to "Finish the Fight!"
Then we saw Halo Wars, Halo ODST, and now Halo Reach.... It's nice that Halo is getting it's own little universe (ala how Starcraft and Warcraft has its own "history"), but maybe they need to start making a game without usin...
dunno about painfully slow, but Live and PSN downloads have always been the same for me, except 360 is nice that I can queue the downloads and they can be start up as they finish individually. The PS3 on the other hand, I have to install the download I want to play first. However the workaround to this is to queue up the background downloads and then tell the system to turn off after finish (since it installs the downloads in tandem this way. Obviously this way means you're probably goin...
I like Live, though I don't know if I prefer it over PSN, since well I just care for the core concept of it - playing games online. However, Live wins when it comes to developer support. It's capitalism. What company wouldn't want to sign up with Live! to advertise their product, knowing that:
1) Live! is a cash cow when you're talking about the millions of subscribers paying for online gaming. The cost of online play being $42.99 a year.
2) With #1 in mind, that's a l...
the 0.5% rate applies to the UK since it's SCEUK that states the number. Because your machine just YLOD, your rate of failure is 100%. Get a second machine in your household and if that one doesn't fail, it's now 50%. But if you contribute your YLOD machine with the total YLOD of everyone else's PS3 over the total number of PS3 systems in your place of residence, then you can come up with better figures for rate of failure. Otherwise, just because one person's machine went YLOD or...
Careful with saying "Rewind" is not like real life, because other people will say "Well then Restart is like Rewind." Truthfully, Restart is nothing like Rewind. You can rewind 10 seconds of an Endurance race to undo that accident, but if you restart, you have to live through those laps all over again avoiding accidents and whatnot.

Actually the new E class and some other vehicles have.... "auto" brake to prevent collisi...
Not sure if you guys picked it up, but when she was steering to the right, the video of Burnout was moving to the left. When she steered to the left, it went to the right. Either that's some very bad input lag or the camera isn't reading her correctly. Maybe she's not really a bad female asian driver afterall..... lol
Yea you need tactile response or at least haptic feedback when it comes to games, otherwise you have no idea how much pressure you're applying when you "move a limb", because at least with shoulder buttons you know exactly how hard to press down. I played with the EyeToy at ToysRus many years ago, and though I would say I looked like I was having fun and smiling like Yoko Shono, to the other customers in ToysRus, I probably looked really stupid swinging my arms.
At le...
^ the thing is it is fun when it comes to casual games that rely on little accuracy. Wii Sports for example is fun for the family because its games don't rely much on accurate input. You can swing your WiiMote in Wii Tennis and still hit the ball, maybe not to the direction you want, but the Mii goes the right direction for you. When you see the Sony wand trying to hit a tennis ball, it appears harder because it's 1:1 relying on user accuracy, where on Wii Tennis the Mii's avatar tenn...
I think he has those shades on because of an eye problem he has. But does anyone know why his name is Kudo Tsunoda? Seems like he understands japanese, but is he japanese?
There are a lot of exclusives and unique games out on the 3rd place console this year, but too bad not many of them pique my interest - at least there were exclusive games to get though. On the other hand, there weren't that many great games out for the 2nd place console this year, but so far the only good game to get was ODST. But I guess I was game deprived since there were like nothing but multiplatforms before I picked up ODST.
Desperation is when you could've beaten your opponent ahead of time because you had a nice advantage, but you didn't. You waited and waited, thinking your opponent was out of the league, only until your opponent has caught up to you at a corner do you wait to see what happens, then react to it by doing dirty tricks. Like Paris in the movie Troy... he slept with a king's wife thinking he'll get away with it and he claimed he would fight. But when he did fight he couldn't fight, and when h...
^ exactly, too bad not many people here seem to notice it, and quick to assume that's how it'll look in gameplay.
Can't believe you guys think it's CGI when there are obvious jaggies here and there. You can easily use movie editing software and apply the appropriate vignette filter to make a car video look like the GT5 video. I'm sure it occurred to people that GT5/p replay videos all use some form of video filter to give it that "GT" look right? Take off those filters and it'll look like a typical GT5/p game.
Or rather how much dedication a company puts into making a car look beautiful. I got disagrees for linking a GT vid that showcased engine sounds at idle. It's interesting to note that you can't be neutral in N4G - you have to pick sides. Posting a related link of GT in a GT thread will yield disagrees, and posting pictures of Forza 3 in a Forza 3 will yield disagrees as well. And obviously posting about a competing game will get lots of disagrees. It's as if you have to prove it to...
@whoopimen
well that reviewer couldn't have been complaining about multiplayer since, they said they didn't wanna bother with it, preferring halo & gears multiplayer instead. Which I think Halo's multiplayer is a blast when playing with friends, and Gear is pretty neat cept for the bugs in 2... but neglecting a game's multiplayer (such as UC2's case) because of favoritism over another shows much unnecessary bias and pretty much gives us an idea how professional gaming journ...
always videos of people who can't drive a car.
