does that mean that website w/ the article about how these Chinese guys got together to make a fake PS3 slim hoping to sell it on eBay was just a bunch of lies?
Heh heh you're gonna get banned in the WoW forums for spreading "leaked" information. Those moderators there are so anal about it.
Edit: oh yea and people think n4g has it bad with fanboys & trolls. The blizzard WoW forums are worse. They totally rip you apart. Can't nuke em with fire or acid. Just doesn't work!
You're new and it seems like you're trying to be a contributor. It's good that you at least submitted a link from a reputable [but questionable] source instead of others that submit crap from newly created blog sites. The only problem is Cnet has from time and again created articles that are slightly biased - some may say anti-Playstation. Maybe they're not biased, but they surely aren't up-to-date with the times and are quick to bring into argument Sony's problems instead of also givin...
I think "could be" also makes you a prime target for disagrees. I'd rather see a full game like Mass Effect 2 getting GOTY than a downloadable title. You can say Shadow Complex is a "full game" yea.. but it's a downloadable Live Arcade title! Imagine a dreadful year with horrible games, and the only game that won GOTY was a downloadable such as Joust! =D
This game, Splinter Cell, Forza, GT, Uncharted, Mass Effect, GoW, and the Last Guardian are definitely on my list of games to get this year and the next. If you don't own both a PS3 and 360, two of the greatest consoles of this generation, then you are truly missing out as a gamer. Aside from multiplatform games you can get on PS3, 360, and some on PC, Sony and Microsoft's systems offer some truly unique and memorable games.
Your logic is horrible. By how you think, it must mean statistical tests our economists use and the sh1t we learn in economics class must not apply to real life applications. Cuz by your statement, it's implying that the results from statistical tests (tests that some bored economist in doctorate school probably magically conjured up after a night of paper/pencil D&D) are quite baffling! Baffling enough we shouldn't believe or agree with them!
Well... in Pachter's ...
Frankly, I believe 5000 people is adequate enough to use as a sample size in their statistic. Not sure what statistical test they used though.
And now we know who's the obsessed fanboy with the stereotypical fanboy mentality, that argues anything that gives off bad MS vibe must be from a Sony fanboy. HEH!
Another dose of n4g vitamins for the day!
Heh that 3rd picture of Nathan in the first row reminds me of Dr. Jones having a rough day.
Edit: Just wanted to say, after looking through these pictures, some of the first Uncharted 2 shots were posted on Gamersyde a long while back, and many people claimed them to be bullshots. I think this was the very same feeling people got when seeing the very first Ratchet & Clank TOD shots too. I believe that with the E3 video and many more other videos of UC2, those released pict...
AFAIK comparing LP2 to UC2, LP2 doesn't really have much going on in a scene. There're a couple explosions here, like 3-4 AI guys going about, and a couple mobs doing the usual mob-attack-player AI routine. All of this with super-blurry-background-becaus e-it's-the-cool-thing-to-do graphics. That scene w/ the big shiny monster boss, heavy windy rain, and lots of grass is spectacular though, however it seems like it's done to cover up on the other details. You see much more details and t...
He should be sorry to everyone at work for always breaking the WiiFit boards. That fat bastard. ;-)
I find it funny the site says these rumors and fake concept may have inspired the real deal. I also find it interesting that these anonymous chinese guys had the free time to use tools to create a fake concept, and thought it'd be very smart to sell something like this on eBay. Do they seriously think people would purchase a fake PS3 slim on eBay -a machine that magically appears on the internet with little confirmation of production from Sony - and expect to get away with it w/o getting ...
Despite the fact you can notice some flat textures in Uncharted 2, the many different textures, vast environments, and attention to detail in the design makes the game look beautiful. But there's no doubt that Mass Effect 2 is one sweet looking game too. Bioware really got some creative minds together to design the alien races in ME's universe. Truly believable sci-fi and the scenes are breath taking. Anything from Bioware is triple A in my book. These two games will make multi consol...
Wow is that a picture of Shepard and Thane? You can have Thane - the super badass space assassin - as your personal b!tch? WHOA. I'm liking that ME2 developer diary. Game's gonna be awesome.
You guys must be naive to really think these pictures are of a Sony console. Did it not occur to you all with that MHIBLART tag at the corner of the pics that they may just be renders of some one's conceptual ideas?
What you guys don't even bother to google MHIBLART to find the pics on their Flickr and see a page 2 filled with other things the person made?

Open Office is a really good alternative to word processing and it gets the job done if you just need something simple. Saying it's better than Word is a bit far fetched if it's implying that OO is THE better app. Saying it's better than Word because it's free however is understandable I guess. Though there are a lot of people here that will disagree when anyone brings up the word "Free" since it seems many of them here enjoy paying for things that are otherwise [supposed to be...
It disappoints me greatly knowing that the editor had to turn on assists in a racing game to be satisfied so he could win a race. Why can't they have avid racing game fans preview these kinds of games, playing them with the assists OFF, and then commenting about the gameplay?
I don't know about you guys, but when it comes to a preview of a console racing simulation game, I want to read about how well the other guy thought of it as a "sim", and not how pathetic his ...
It amazes me how news about Google suddenly becomes a fight between console owners.
Yuck! That reminds me of the supermarket where the tops of the soda bottles are coated with dry rat urine. =D Maybe Kotaku means the box needs to be washed.
I forget but I think there was an article about how MS patented a way to chat with other people during a game or off (cross-game chat), so if Sony wants to put it in they'll have to work around it.
