Go to your counties Habitat for Humanity Restore facility and dig a nice coumputer out of the computer recycling bin... That will get you one of the 2-3 year old pc's that rich people throw away with alarming regularity...
Then the game should have a difficulty mode called "Dynamic" in addition to fixed difficulty settings.
Correlation is not causation. I am fairly certain that FOX news suffers from all the crack cocain they smoked back in the late 80's.
Wait, just copying and pasting from MajorNelson.com without attribution is now news???
Well, uploading videos to youtube. For a start... With some sort of Kinect enabled video editor. ("xbox Stop go back 5 seconds, mark go forward 10 seconds mark add it to my video")
On the xbox we need a big mmorpg sandboxy game, to fit in with the rest of the social features.
Now that mouse pointers are so expertly solved by Kinect, we need a Kinect enabled web browser... Right in game. The point, hover, big fish pinch and swipe gestures would b...
The 360 has no operating system at all. Everything is handled by the firmware in the 360. The SDK for the xbox staticly links all the operating system like functions into the game. But otherwise the currently running software (bit it a game or the dashboard) has full control of the xbox.
The main reason the PS3 fails at cross game chat and slow in game popup, is because it is dramatically underpowered in the gp cpu department. It only has one general purpose cpu and it ...
Uhh... Update from XP already... Get a gaming service like Steam. I never have to wait for updates, they all happen in the background.
I doubt you have gamed on a PC in the last 5 years.
Once in a great while I have to download an update to a video driver. Certainly a lot less frequently than I have to wait for Xbox dashboard updates.

Read your EULA some day... You don't actually own the games now, you only own the physical media it is on.
Hopefully, there will be more/better games three years from now and you won't miss those old games, but if they are classics, I am sure they will still be supported by on-live.
Eventually, I am sure the ancient games will be run from virtualized servers and extended support won't be an issue at all...
On Edit: I use Maim a...
